Hearthstone's Battlegrounds is getting a new hero starting next week - Illidan Stormrage.

Illidan has a passive hero power which will flank his opponents! Your left and right-most minions will attack immediately when combat starts - true wingmen.

  • This guy is going to be SUPER powerful. You can trigger your deathrattles or sweepers right off the bat every game! It makes it a lot easier to execute your strategy the way you want to every game. Plus, unlike some heroes, he isn't limited to a specific tribe which makes him way more flexible.

  • Always going first seems like an awesome hero power! Now it simply comes down to luck on whether the Illidan player can assemble a strong enough board to take advantage of this.

  • This portrait looks mo cooler than the one in Standard that Kibler was playing. Not sure why they insist on the "hunched over" look that several portraits have.

        Probably not - it's the zoomed-in art from the current Illidan Stormrage card. though since nobody plays the card I doubt many would recognize it haha
