Kobold Sandtrooper is better imo since its guaranteed, but still, this may be good enough to see play in aggro decks.

I don't understand the point of Core set.
If you are going to print this right away, why not keep [Hearthstone Card (Razorfen Raptor) Not Found] around instead? I get that the core cards aren't supposed to be necessarily playable, but at least don't make them immediately redundant.
That being said, this is good because it's one of the few playable 2-mana Beasts which might be important for Tavish shenanigans.

Obvious aggressive minion is aggressively obvious. Pretty sure there's a Runeterra card with the exact same Cost, Stats, and effect, or close to it. Probably gets a chance in some very aggressive decks, but I don't think it will be reliable enough to see too much play.
Good for FACE decks, RIP River Crocolisk, first they powercrept a lot , and now it got completely and utterly destroyed by a neutral minion with same stats, cost, good effect AND beast tag. RIP

it's a beast and has aggro potential, so it'll see play in hunter at some point.
This does not deal an insignificant amount of damage, I am just not sure if it will trigger consistently enough to be played.

It might get triggered if played on curve, but it's so weak in the late game. Filler.

Seems like it could be pretty good in face decks. It effectively allows you to trade and go face at the same time.
I never say this about anything, but this feels like a good Arena card.
Even Beast Hunters won't play this.
Bonechewer Brawler just seems like a way better card, the 3 damage is very useful but will probably never proc and is hardly relevant enough compared to the Brawler which can win games just by surviving a single turn/attack.

Indeed. Didn't they say that they want the Core set to be more impactful or something? I mean not every card has to be top tier or even playable, but if new-mechanic pack fillers are instantly strictly better than the Core card...

Has the same problem as Peon in terms of likelihood of activation. Just ends up being a River Crocolisk too often.

Pretty aggressive, aggro deck will love it, especially hunter with that beast tag.
Meaner crocolisk. Marginally better than a card that sees no play. However, Kobold Sandtrooper seemed underwhelming and found a place in aggro Hunter, so could have some potential.

Frenzy is unreliable when played in face decks, you're dependant on what your opponent does. This should only see play if it's filling out the 2-drop slot, but there are a lot of cards in front of it.

Good early play, and the stats are geared toward getting the frenzy effect. Not something you'd throw in any deck, but definitely nice to have in quite a few decks for a number of reasons.
Better than Leper Gnome? This looks like it will be the only cheap neutral option for dealing direct damage to the enemy hero either way.

I guess this is this year's 'here's how you upgrade a deck' card? Seems honestly not that bad in a really aggressive deck.

Good aggressive card.
I don't think aggressive decks are willing to commit resources to damage their own minions on their turn just for three face damage. The face damage isn't even guaranteed, which makes me want to run something with a more consistent output like Sneaky Delinquent.
