  • I know that random stuff is fun and make every round different instead of a chess-like game and it is one of the identities of Hearthstone but someone needs to tell Blizzard that they don't have to release something about Yogg in every expansion...

    I'm an RNG enthusiast but even i'm bored to see Yogg-Saron itself and all Yogg-like effects. It is in every damn year while poor Y'shaarj just waits on the bench.

    Yeah, it's the Anniversary but there was not only YOGG for mage... in every time...

    card itself is good. I've nothing to say more. A typical yogg-like card for no-minion Mage.

  • Probably crap in a No-Minion deck, especially crappy outside of it.

    Can we get something more honest like Dragon Mage or an actually-viable Elemental Mage again? I want to play minions that do interesting things, not ignore the board until I'm ready to blow up the enemy's face. I guess I'm thinking of the wrong class, but I used to like the Mage.

    *sigh*...I miss Frost Lich Jaina.

  • I love me some casino, so let's go! I suppose it's decent in a deck with minions, but really, you want to play this in no-minion Mage for sure! Going to be so fun when it casts Wheel of DEATH!!!. Then your deck has no minions for sure!

  • May the Yogg be with you ... you are going to need it.

  • This will cast wheel of dead too many times to see play.

    I think this is a less chaotic version of puzzle box of yogg saron, wich makes it less fun....

    Edit: But hey, consistency will be much better!

  • In Wild, you can now play "random spells" cards on 8, 9, and 10 so that's pretty cool. Maybe this is the card that forces you into no minion decks, but I'm still not seeing it. The spells are still random (Wish Upon a Star would be a terrible hit considering that, like, you got no minions).

  • If Puzzle Box was anything to go off of, this will probably be okay.

    Such cards like this are just not my favorite thing about the game.

  • ANOTHER YOGG IN THE BOX. Will see play for sure (and sometimes not just because this card is good)

  • Nice recast for the 10 Mana spell. Will be a ton of fun to play.

  • Random bullsh*t go for no minion mage, love to see it, has insane highroll potential

  • Oh come on, can we just stop pumping out those RNG heavy casino cards? I hate losing to those and I don't like playing them either. That said, no minion mage has some flavor-related appeal, so I'm happy that archetype got some support. Unfortunately, it probably wasn't enough.

  • Will make for some crazy shenanigans when coming in with or out of Puzzlebox.

    Brings back memories of 20 mana worth of spells but tad cheaper.

    There is no doubt this card will win games because of some godsend.

  • Seems too slow and erm... random? Yeah, I guess that's the whole point, but even so...

  • It's sad that Mage's identity has now been solidified as random bs. I don't think you will ever want to run no minion mage. Even with the condition met it's still random, bad and expensive

  • So if you have minions, it will cast any spell that costs less than 5, if you don't, it will cast any spell. Is that better? I honestly don't know, but YOLO.
