Burgrak Cruelchain Strategy - Trial by Felfire

In the second encounter of the chapter "To the Black Temple", you're fighting Burgrak Crueltrain and working to fix his Broken Demolisher.

Quick Tips

• Our deck is combo-heavy. This is through the Combo keyword directly and through mechanics that incentivize playing certain types of cards.
• Spymistress is an excellent card to start the game with as it will take out a Bonechewer Brawler on turn 2.
• Watch out for Eydis Darkbane! If you give Burgrak Spare Parts with her active, expect death.
• Collect Spare Parts, build large minions, take out your opponent's minions without losing the board.

The Encounter

When the game begins you're introduced to an almost-half filled enemy board that contains a Broken Demolisher of all things. You'll also get a glimpse of a custom element attached to our enemy that says there are 12 parts required to finish the repairs.

That leaves us with the question - what is our win condition if we can't simply attack Burgrak? If you take note of his Hero Power, you'll see that it generates Spare Parts through the death of a mechanical minion. This mechanic that originates all the way back in Goblins vs Gnomes will create one of the following parts at random in both players hands.

When you play one of these Spare Parts, it will reduce the number of parts needed to finish the aforementioned repairs. We also can generate some parts through Toshley which is an interesting addition to our deck. Nothing more is needed other than to play 12 Spare Parts.

Now that we've built up the demolisher, its getting stolen! Aranna, you certainly live an interesting life.
