Storm Captain is a Rusher that benefits from Overload, getting cheaper the more Overloaded you are at the moment. Useful in Overload decks where being Overloaded can leave you starved for Mana, and can also be used for Evolve builds.

I designed this with the idea of hunters recently having quite a bunch of Hero Power synergy cards and also being known for the more aggressive/face decks.

I chose the art based on the fact that they also seem to use a lot of goblins in their cards so I thought it would be a nice touch if their first pirate was a goblin too. 

I think the balance in this version is also ok since it is capped at a maximum of 18 and you need to have a clean board late game to use this at full potential. It is also a 10 cost class legendary so the effect should provide a meaningful enough swing to warrant giving up on a turn that late into the game.

Captain Robin fits the idea of Paladins being protectors, whether on the high seas or within castle walls. Repeatably keeping your friend safe will let Tabby keeping digging into his treasures to benefit you through the game. An idea of making this work fairly with a bit of setup would be Libram of Justice (2 Mana) > Consecration > [Hearthstone Card (Captain Robin) Not Found], giving your opponent no threats to scare little Tabby off into the ocean. i hope you enjoy the lore of this card as much as I did making it.

While AOE is a general weakness of Hunter, they have been provided some minor AOE in the past. Explosive Trap and Deathstalker Rexxar come to mind. Back Alley Sniper does just this.

For 6 mana, Back Alley Sniper will cause your hero power to damage all enemies instead of one. At 6 mana, 2 damage to all enemies is only enough to clear a few remaining small minions, and take off some health from the mid game minions. 

2 damage AOE at 6 mana is the perfect "lite" AOE for Hunter. Allowing a chance to regain board control, while not being a complete board clear.

And if a Mage ever gets a hold of a Back Alley Sniper, their Hero Power would deal 1 damage to all enemies.

Similarly to quests, Carla will always start in your opening hand (and she can be mulliganed away). This allows her to be played in a no minions Mage deck.

When you attack with the Raiding Staff, spells in your hand are transformed into random Pirates with Mana Cost equal to or lower than your remaining mana crystals. Then, they are transformed back into the spells they were at the end of the turn. For example, if you attack with 2 mana remaining spells in your hand will be transformed into 1 or 2 Mana Pirates for the rest of that turn.

Carla can be played in a Spell Mage to give access to minions, in a cyclone mage to transform bad Mage Spells into playable minions, or even in a Pirate Mage deck in order to have more Pirates (including ones from other classes).
