I love this kind of cards where the impact gets better the later in the game and also can be used in the early if needed.
Without even having to repeat the spells it's still 5/5 stars in balance of mana and what you get.
Great card, can easely discover you 2 spells. Great for control/value shaman, as the effect gets better the later into the game you are. This will see a LOT of play! The legendaries this set really do not dissapoint! (Well MOST of them don't dissapoint.)
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
This is solid I think. If you hit something like torrent you're super happy. With some good luck you can hit a miracle turn, with some bad luck you play a 3 mana 3/3 that disovers you like two spells. You can also just go fishing for burn pretty hard.
It's solid, decent design but a little bit bland. It could also be one of those cards thats a lot more fun to play than it seems so we'll see.
Nice! In some scenarios this will just go OFF! In other scenarios, it will force you to play sub-par spells in the hopes of getting what you want.
"Be excellent to each other." -Bill and Ted
Seems alright, kind of slow, though Shaman does like more card generation.
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
I don't think it is entirely necessary for it to say "1 or more". I can see why they did it, but it just makes the card feel really weird, like they are trying to make it more clunky to play. I would have rather they made it discover any spell, but then nerf it later if it proved to be an issue.
As it is now though the card is still very powerful. 3 mana 3/3 discover a spell isn't bad, 3 mana 3/3 discover 3 spells is super good, anything beyond that is just insane value. 5 stars.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
Instructor Fireheart is fine in just about any Control Shaman list as it's strong on 3 and just gets better later in the game,. It's also probably a lot better with a list that focuses on using spell damage.
Strong in battlecry and spell based Shamans lists alike, this card will definitely see play. It also has crazy synergy with Torrent since its the cheapest high damage spell you can get for board control.
This is a general good value card, can slot in to many shaman deck. Obviously you want to play this later in the game, hopefully as a finisher (multiple lightning bolt with spell damage on board?) but overall this is just great.
I am assuming the effect is persistent as long as you cast the spell you discover.
If yes, this is a good card, you have multiple chances for the card you are fishing for.
Seems great in quest or control shaman.. Well basically.. Any shaman deck it's just solid even without the second effect.
I think the strength of this one will be determined by how many spells you can actually chain off of it. I don't think control shaman will play this one on t3 and get just 1 spell. Since you can get so much more value later on.

Decent I think?
You just play her when you have a good amount of mana and either look for an answer or just try to get value out of her. Not sure which deck she would go into though.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Decent card and a nice addition for my Highlander Shaman!
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
The size of the randomness makes this a little hard to evaluate, but I imagine you'd be doing well if you generated 2 or 3 useful spells from this.
Not sure if decks want this, just by merit of inconsistency, but if you really need a boardwipe or burn, you can pick the cheapest option to re-roll.
It's fine, but I can't imagine it being a mainstay of many decks.
This post is discussing the wild format.
If there was ever a safe craft, this one would be it.
I can't see why any shaman deck wouldn't just play this in their deck. Its basically a more flexible Marshspawn, and already sick card.
Yes, this can't discover Lightning Bloom or any of the totem buffs, but these are only but minor issues, easily dismissed.
Very interesting and probably good in many different decks. However, it feels like a win more-card as it’s very rng dependant. Comparable to Evocation If anything.
Simple but I love it, it's so versatile it can fit in almost any deck except the most aggressive ones.
This is a fun card, not great stat wise but she has an interesting effect.
There's no way to plan around what you will get with her, but since she has the unique ability to cycle through the discover effect she can be used to search for a spell needed on the turn she's played or possibly a spell needed to clear the board down the line.
She has a soft synergy with Speaker Gidra, since she'll be able to pull a spell to increase Gidra's attack without having to use a spell that's in your deck.
She won't be a win condition but will be a fun card to play with in Arena or Casual mode
Dwarven Archaeologist. That is all.
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)
Wins per class (2/6/22): DH-197; Druid-996; Hunter-91«60; Mage-1056; Paladin-1126; Priest-746; Rogue-961; Shaman-1095; Warlock-871; Warrior-906
I wasn't paying attention for the reveals video, was there saxophone playing while showcasing this one?
If there wasn't, I'm predicting that Trolden will have a fix soon ^^
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Instructor Fireheart is more impactful than Vulpera Scoundrel on turn 3 and on any turn after. I imagine that any Shaman deck that isn't totems would love to run her as she can usually act as both efficient tempo and efficient removal. Consider the fact that Shaman is limited in card draw and resource generation options and Instructor Fireheart is a home run.
For glory, honor, and gold!
Strange wording (1 or more), but I guess it's meant to exclude 0-cost spells?
Official Lorekeeper and Spinner of Tavern Tales
Even if you only Discover one spell, it's still stronger than Vulpera Scoundrel.
The amount of chain reactions you can make with this card is pretty nice. Now you just good spell triggers. What do you throw in?
With luck, you could potentially "miracle" you way into a way with some damage spells, or you can grab more defensive spells to put yourself back in the game. She's very flexible.
This card can generate a lot of extra value. Probably it's not a win condition but it is at least usefull as Lyra the Sunshard
At it's worst it's a better Vulpera Scoundrel, which is still pretty decent.
Seems like a really nice Tool for Control: Generate Resources from Nothing and do Stuff.

Spirit of the Toad reworked? I don't like it
I love it, but dont think it will be meta definiing
Lemushki - The one and only since the 2006 rebranding.
One of my favorites, can offer some pretty good value and combo potential.
Great value, but Shaman can't outvalue Galakrond Priest.
It looks like Lyra the Sunshard. Nice effect.
Sadly, this (1) or more takes away some highrolls. I imagine they tested her with no restriction, and in some cases multiple lighntning blooms and cheap overload spells were discovered, enough to kill the enemy hero, or at least burn down about 15 health. And even for basically missing the next turn, this was probably to un-fun.
Meh card, the effect is too broad to be used consistently
All hail the banshee queen.
This card is amazing. Whether it be in agressive decks or control decks, earlygame or lategame, it's always a good effect and it's always a good topdeck.
We love breaking class identities!
This card is probably going to be an auto-include in almost every Shaman list in standard until it rotates just because of how efficient, simple, and versatile it is.
The art does feel a little "un-shaman," but it still is cool nonetheless.
Good if you can pull off a decent chain, realistically you might cast 2/3 spells and keep one after that.
For every 7 Lightning Bolt streak on turn 10, you will see a billion Totemic Might, so keep your expectations low. Aggro can fish for 2+ burn around turn 6 (if you aim at 1 burn only, better just run that burn), Control (if it exists) can nab a board sweeper or taunt maker around 8. All in all, It's a fair deal. Weird artwork for a shammy card however.
Snowballing... feels like Shadowjeweler Hanar

One of the best golden legendaries of the set. :D
Thanks to denial, I'm immortal.
With 10 mana, and some luck with spell power, this will enable some otks out of Lightning Bolts
I think if you only get to discover one spell, it would be worth playing, anything more is just a bonus.
With just 1 spell discovered is worth, and shaman have tons of cheap spells.
One of the bests legendaries revealed.

Lightning Bolt into Lightning Bolt into Lightning Bolt... About those spell damage cards in Shaman and Shaman/Mage...
Quick! Someone give me something clever to write here.
I see this card as a very good and specific Puzzle box (with less spells). You would ideally want to play it with 10 mana to chain as much value as you can. Also very good card for quest shaman.
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
Arcane Missile spam with Lab Partner.
Great art, and a really strong effect. The potential to chain multiple spells can definitely be game winning.
Can't wait to slam this on turn 10 and hope for the best. I love these kind of branching decision cards, such a fun design.
