We've got changes in today's patch which showcase the next two card backs that will be returning to the in-game shop!
The Eyes of C'Thun card back has returned, which makes this the first time a pre-order exclusive card back has become available again. We've also got the less notable, since it was a ranked reward in April 2016, card back of Yogg-Saron making a reappearance at some point in the future.
Card backs cost 500 Gold each, or 2.99 Euros / $2.99 USD.
How do you feel about a previously exclusive pre-order card back returning to availability? Does this influence your desire to pre-order in the future?

I've always thought the roving Eye to be one of the neater card backs, so take my 500 gold no problem.
Anyone know for how long will the Eyes of C'Thun card back be available in the shop?
At least a week which should be enough time to gather the gold if you are starting from scratch =)
I'd consider it, but five packs is too steep for my liking.
The card back never factored into my decision to get a pre-order, so this doesn't change it. I think the only pre-order I ever got was Un'goro, when they offered bonus packs.
In general, I don't get much enjoyment out of exclusivity, so it's fine with me if they make old card backs available to new players or players who skipped the pre-order back then for whatever reason.

I’m someone who is entirely ok with older card backs returning, but preorder card backs returning is a bit rough. At this rate they could rerelease blizzcon cardbacks at 500 gold too, and those things were significantly more expensive at the time.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I care very little about card backs in my own collection, probably due to how they are displayed in the user interface. I thought that I would buy the pumpkin one that was just in the shop, but I ended up skipping it, since I felt like 500g was too steep for something I can barely see during the game.
I do enjoy it when my opponent has a cool card back though!
As someone who buys the pre-order card back each expansion just from a collector point of view, I have mixed feelings on the Pre-order card backs returning. The ranked ones were fine with me as they were fairly easy to get, but a limited time purchase I made with my own money coming back for gold is a little :/ for me. On the other side, I am missing a few from before I started playing (TGT and earlier), so I can see the benefits. Overall not sure how I feel about this one.
Ive prepurchased multuple times in past and id be 100% fine wiht and even PREFER if old portaits and cardbacks for al became aviabe again occasionly.
Its same how i think in wow about time limited/exlusive stuff dont like and would prefer if more could get(like mage tower or challenge mode appereances in wow)

Personally, i'm glad to see the Eyes of C'Thun cardback return. It came out during the time i lost interest in the game, but i have always wanted a "old god" cardback for the C'Thun decks i play every so often. And the Eyes of C'Thun cardback is i.m.o. the best of the old god card backs. Also i'm fine with seeing other pre-purchase card backs return in the shop. And while their at it, i wouldn't mind seeing some of the "pre-purchase only" hero skins return. I personally never buy pre-orders for the card back, if i pre-order it's for the packs. (And possible benefits like a free legendary or early acces.) So i don't think a lot of people will be "mad" about seeing those kinda card backs return in the store. It still costs 5 packs worth of gold, so it's still not that cheap to get.
id so love if more old portaits came back,aslo alleria/magni/medivh could come back and be in bundle with class packs(liek current rexxar one fore xample) in future.
