Now shammy is likely to steadily attack - a must kill
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
I see some combo potential but standalone it is also pretty good, so will be good in arena.
I am envoy from nowhere in nowhere. Nobody and nothing have sent me. And even though it is impossible I exist. ©Trimutius
Wow, that is actually pretty good. You can run it and get +2 Spell Damage on the dagger, with a hefty extra +6 to the face. Even without a weapon, just dropping this and slapping some stuff is also nice.
This ain't no place for a hero
I'm liking this new archetype that's being pushed for Shaman, reminds me of the Enhancement Shaman builds in WoW. I hope this archetype takes off.
This strikes me as both a build-around card and something that you can just slot into any midrange/aggro Shaman deck. This is a must-kill for your opponent, so having a weapon equipped then attacking with this on board is a potentially powerful play. Shaman has some good weapons like the evolving one, but I think it needs more for Inara Stormcrash to be fully taken advantage of. But even having the 5-attack weapon from Galakrond could potentially deal 14 damage if Inara's on the board.
My only gripe about this card is the art...reminds me too much of the horrible Dragonslayer art back in KnC. It's most likely the same artist.
This seems like a good effect. By itself, it's not spectacular, but with a weapon in play, it becomes quite strong. Hypothetically allows +2 Spell Damage with Rune Dagger, which could be good.
Sidenote: There is a character in Hearthstone named Inara already: Chronomancer Inara. They wouldn't be the same character, would they?
It's already a 5 mana 4/5 deal 2 damage to 2 enemies, this is really good for aggro shaman.
I eat your fast food spare changes when you sleep.
Right off the bat, this gives you 4 damage + the damage of your weapon extra on the turn it is played, making the burst damage possibilities huge. This card can turn a relatively simple 3 attack weapon into a whopping 10 damage. I am not sure if Weapon Shaman will be a thing, and I also don't think this card will be a necessity in that deck, but if it is a thing this will be a very useful source of burst damage to finish off the opponent.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
You could just slap this card in any fast-ish Shaman deck and its good. The ability to do 4 damage spread across two targets on play is already good, but then you could combo it with weapons or even Rockbiter Weapon to get some serious value.
Looks like they want to push Doomhammer back into the standard meta with some these weapon cards.
I doubt they are thinking of Doomhammer with this particular legendary, seeing as it already has windfury.
It's not aggressively flashy to my eyes but the effect seems solid. Windfury makes it a real threat.
This is an interesting card, but I honestly can't see what they want shaman to be.
So you can gain windfury on every weapon now? that's quite insane.
you can't "bank" it like with Doomhammer if you play this card you are attacking twice on the same turn, cause it's a minion so your opponent wants to remove it asap it has hidden taunt (has taunt as long as enemy lacks lethal) nobody is gonna keep this on board.
Rockbiter Weapon + this card = 7 mana deal 10 damage to the enemy.
Or more dmg if you have a weapon equiped at t6. Really strong effect, we will see if the deck is solid.
By The Holy Light!
Very nice card and Shaman needs more windfury type cards coz that's one of their class identities (more so in WoW than HS).
Wouldn't be surprised if someone figures out an OTK combo with this card, would love to see Shaman back on top of the meta
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
Can set up some good burst damage if you have a weapon equipped, but that's the struggle here. Not many shaman weapons are much good in the slower gameplan that this card setss up. Maybe the ability to have a yeti + 4 damage every turn it lives is enough, but I think that most aggressive shamans would rather run genn et al.
This post is discussing the wild format.
Standalone it's decent. Gives shaman a way to either deal with some minions, or deal 4 damage to your opponent's face. I'm curious as to what other attack synergy cards shaman will get. Sure we got Cagematch Custodian, [Hearthstone Card (Whack a gnoll) Not Found] and Deathmatch Pavilion so far, but other than Deathmatch Pavilion their is not really any other card that profits from you attacking so far... I'm sceptical about this archetype. It seems decent, and probably will get some more support cards that are not revealed yet. But i think this archetype is already in a ENOURMOUSLY BAD SPOT. There already is a class that does exactly this kinda thing, but way better. And that's Demonhunter. Why play Weapon Shaman, if you can just play Soul DH, or any other DH deck with much more succes? on one side I feel kinda bad for shaman players... But on the other side, they had most of the year of the dragon for their shamanstone game.
Standard: Will see play in Weapon shaman, but it will suck and get completely outmatched by Demonhunter doing the same thing but better. unless they reveal some OP cards during the mass card reveal stream.
Wild: This won't see play. Maybe ODD Shaman might experiement with it, is what i want to say. But ODD Shaman prefers spell-damage and spells that can target FACE.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
This card looks really good.
4/5 body + 4 damage over 2 attacks + persistent effect
And as others have mentioned, good synergy with Rockbiter Weapon or any pre-equipped weapon.
Ok, I get the enhancement shaman part, but the art looks more a lightning monk (storm, earth and fire) to me
I see this card as a 4/5 deal 4. Its fine, I guess. Any synergies that show up with it are pretty insane though. However, dealing 5 damage to a minion past turn 5 isn't insanely hard for most classes (and very easy for some of them).
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)
Wins per class (2/6/22): DH-197; Druid-996; Hunter-91«60; Mage-1056; Paladin-1126; Priest-746; Rogue-961; Shaman-1095; Warlock-871; Warrior-906
Physical Doom Hammer? Okay, why not?

A .gif is worth a thousand words.
Very solid card. Kind of like Soulshard Lapidary but with a bit less burst and stats, but the upside of flexibility of windfury and the huge upside of getting the effect every turn it sticks, not just a battlecry.
Scales with a weapon but also good on its own. You really wouldn't enjoy tanking a 4/4, but you could if you have to. picking off two 2/2s with this will feel good. With a good weapon you could even punch through a taunt and hit face the same turn, so very good pressure card.
I had heard they were going to be pushing Enhancement Shaman, and now I really believe it!
I guess this makes up for that silly legendary totem.
Support for The Runespear in wild (?
But seriously, incredible card.
This is a must kill once on deck. A constant +2 attack AND windfury?!?!
great for enhancement shaman maybe good for shaman all around
TOTAL CORRUPTION
TOTAL POWAAAAAAA
If you're wondering if weapon shaman can ever get up there. I can tell you it will not be because of this card.
The main problem with this card is that there really isn't any good weapons in shaman that gels with this card. As a finisher, Doomhammer does the job. So Inara is but a backup then, in most cases she will simply allow you to kill 2 minions with your face, then act as a soft taunt.
But for the effect, this card is no slouch and will likely always see play. But the wasted potential of this card is illustrated by showing how broken she would've been if she was either a rogue, dhunter, or even a hunter card.
That's what I was thinking. If you can get a decent attack weapon, plus a Rockbiter Weapon or two, this could be some really significant damage.
"Be excellent to each other." -Bill and Ted
I guess this might make enhancement great although it is quite nice by itself regardless since you can smack up with at least 4 damage as long as shes alive
Self proclaimed good at battlegrounds
Interesting card, stats could be better though, but would probably be too powerful otherwise.
Not a huge fan of this card, but could make some big things the turn it gets slammed down. Immediate removal is required from the opponent. and that makes this card very dangerous.
Hero attack is always a dangerous thing because you can just hit the opponent's face, and giving windfury seems dangerous. Combo i could think of is you have one minion on the board, stormstrike inara lightning bloom stromstrike with a whack-a-gnoll full durability for 22 burst damage and a 6-7/6-4 on board. Not feasible, but the most damage I could think of.

Free doomhammer if it lives i guess
All hail the banshee queen.
I can see the enhancement shaman coming together finally.
Strong with any weapon that isn't Fist of Ra'Den.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
More weapon shaman stuff. I'm still skeptical about this archetype. It doesn't feel like a good fit.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
Inara Stormcrash is an extremely solid minion, this issue is just the surrounding context of the Shaman class. I'd argue that there aren't enough good weapons and hero attack buffs in Shaman when you compare it to DH, so why not play DH instead?
For glory, honor, and gold!
Doomhammer without Overload, with the trade-off being it's easier for your opponent to get rid of (but the upside that it isn't limited by Durability). It's great for controlling the board, or finishing your opponent off with a few Attack buffs.
I don't want to cure cancer; I want to turn people into dinosaurs.
Cool to see Doomhammer on a minion. I like the idea of giving any weapon you have a boost and Windfury, makes the whole attackShaman thing seem way more viable.
Welcome to the site!
I love the flavour on this card, Enhancement Shaman is awesome!
