Two new cards have been revealed in a PlayHearthstone Instagram Story.
Worthless Imps are the tokens summoned by Impbalming.

- Impbalming - With your complexion, Imp Balm is a great demonizer.
- Earthquake - Shake it, sh-sh-sh-shake it like a Kalimdor fissure.

SO MANY IMPS!
Pretty powerful board clear to deal with sticky mechs... Seems good. And then an interesting effect for warlock. And punish isn't all that bad for a class with life tap hero power.
They are pushing shuffle/draw warlock. I bet those aditional imps will become an upside in some decks. This card could dethrone warrior as the primary control class! Add some more sacrifice mechanics and warlock is rolling again. Discard the lowest cost card becomes viable aswell!
Besides, 4 mana „unconditionnal“ removal is unprecedented. It‘s walk the plank level and this card is only unpopular because of limited use in rogue.
#Impbalming -> Rafaam synergy. :D
#Earthquake -> expensive defile. Not sure about it, because 1+ Mana you get Twisting Nether [Hearthstone Card (Hagatha's scheme) Not Found] is just better..
you do realize that that this is 7 mana 7 damage. at 7 mana that is better than hagatha's scheme because hagatha's scheme would have to be in your hand since turn 1 for it to be that good.
for 7 mana 7 damage is insane, and it also beast reborn and any other deathrattle junk such as 1/1 microbots, and 2/2 treants.
As a Control-Shaman player i have to say: WTF is blizzard doing? First shaman get the best AoE clear in Hearthstone history (Hagatha's Scheme) and then we get a Flamestrike with 3 extra damage? And not to mention, that you can bait out deathrattles with the first 5 damage and kill the tokens after that with 2 damage.
Holy shit. I am sorry for token decks or any mech hunter out there! :D But I am happy to see this card. The Control-Shaman dream goes on with it. I love this archetype for shaman so much <3
To the Warlock card: First it seems very bad to shuffle 3 Imps into your deck. But they can help you to fill your deck for the quest or Rafaam himself to generate more legendaries. But will warlock come back with the quest and this? I really don't know...
can't compare a spell that damages ALL minions with a spell that damages only enemies, right ?
There is no universe in which Hagatha's Scheme is the best AoE clear in Hearthstone history. It's not even CLOSE to as good as Psychic Scream, and I'd argue that most board clears in the game are better than the Scheme because they're playable when you topdeck them.
Yes I am sry. Maybe I overstated Hagatha's Scheme a bit. But i like the card and it is a great AoE tool. When I overthink my comment, I think you are right, there are much better ones. But 5 mana for 5 to 6 damage in most cases is insane.
I agree, also the imps can be used with the new warlock quest. when you are trying to draw that many cards it is good to shuffle all you can
I love that shaman card.
the warlock one seems bad though.
The warlock card doesn't seem great, the shaman one might be pretty good.
Good card for shuffling rubbish and converting it to legendaries later.
Worthless Imps are 1/1s, right?
Yes they are 1/1s that do nothing.
You might even say... they're worthless.
Did you just assume my value? /s
By the way, they are the same ones you get after using Sense Demons with no targets in your deck
Thing is, whereas before they were generated if you had no demons, now the card text doesn't make sense because these are indeed demons and you'll have more in your deck :)
It'll probably be a new version without the text and with the SoU symbol. They've done that for other tokens like entreats.
I would certainly think so
