Ok there just asking us to make a wild pogo rouge deck aren't they
TOTAL CORRUPTION
TOTAL POWAAAAAAA
I have a hard time believing this card won't be played. It synergizes with almost every Rogue archetype and is incredibly cheap for what it's effect does. The ability to spend 3 mana to replay any minion you have on the board has massive potential, expect to see this card a lot for the next rotation cycle.
I'm sure there will be some combos that will love Tenwu, but my initial impression is meh. Just a Youthful Brewmaster with an upside.
Solid, very solid. Now just need to decide which battlecries/comboes are the best with this...

A Youthful Brewmaster with the bonus of dropping the minion again that turn for 1? Totally worth it
Double Kronx it's na very powerful tempo play
I was thinking about that.
+4+4 to all minions, 2 8/8 taunt, 10 LS dmg to the hero, 10 tmg aoe or some combination of them it's a huge play.
By The Holy Light!
It's literarly a Youthful Brewmaster for pogos.
Not impressed with this one quite a lot of mana for an already impactful card you want to play anyway if the minion doesn't cost more than 3 it's not worth it cause you can Shadowstep instead.
Not as good as Shadowstep when bouncing a minion that costs 2 or less (or 4, if you count the cost of Tenwu himself), but way better than Shadowstep when bouncing high costs cards. "This turn" is a fair limit, too. I think this will be quite good.
"Be excellent to each other." -Bill and Ted
Might be a bit too slow, but if Heistbaron Togwaggle, Flik or Kronx live a turn then oh man, is the opponent going to be sad. You can even use it to bounce things like weapon buffers or extra invokes (probably from Shield of Galakrond). Just seems good, it is low costed enough to be able to bounce anything important for Rogue!
This ain't no place for a hero
Wild, already being Galakrond, the Nightmare then double Emperor Thaurissan proc, next turn: Brann Bronzebeard intro Kronx Dragonhoof, for 10 damage face, then Shadowstep for 10 damage, then Tenwu of the Red Smoke for lethal.
Exactly 10 mana for exactly 30 damage.
Totally viable, for MarkMcKz!

Double-plus-two your Prize Plunderer battlecry!
But seriously, great card. If you don't see the potential, you probably don't play much Rogue.
this card is just insane and super flexible. It's shadowstep with a body but it's incredibly strong on higher cost things. You don't have to hit something insane like toggwaggle, kronx, or jandice for this to be good, but you can.
Just value trade with a shield of galakrond or faceless corrupter or something and then bounce it back is super good. You can still bounce and Edwin or evil miscreant and play it for the same price as a shadow step.
Good aggressive stat's for its cost, is really good later into the game. I don't see why this wouldn't be a must-include in many decks. Tenwu of the Red Smoke seems really good with basicly any battlecry. worst case scenario it's just a Youthful Brewmaster.
Standard: Must include in any rogue deck. You better be prepared to kill any battlecry minion a opposing rogue plays, or your going to regret it.
Wild: This will 100% see play in a few decks. I'm not going to list them, because their are too many. But i will say that it fits perfectly in The Caverns Below Rogue, even though that deck is not that good.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
This very clearly goes into a combo. The question is not is this card is good in general, but if whatever combo this enables is good. I'm guessing that, like most rogue combos, whatever this enables will be a fiddle, and not really competitive. Fun card, though.
This post is discussing the wild format.
Good effect, good cost/stat value, cood synergy with class, 5/5 card.
I don´t play Rogue much, but I can see the potential already. Cool card imo.

This card is so flexible and useful with so many different decks and archetypes I really can't imagine this card not seeing play. This is rogue's version of Gorgon Zola.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
This with Kronx and double shadowstep equals triple Kronx' effect on 10 mana. With 4 smaller minions on board it's 24 damage, or 15 on empty board. I guess they'll have to nerf or HoF Shadowstep soon :(
I personally would have said Zola was Neutral's version of Shadowcaster, or just rogue shenanigans with duplication/bouncing in general, but hey ho. I agree it is almost too solid and flexible to not see play, especially if the meta encourages value over aggro again.
Well Kronx will rotate out next year anyway, so there's not much reason to send Shadowstep with him. In the meantime, I doubt a 4 card 10 mana combo that isn't an OTK is likely to sound many alarm bells.
This card can be strong in Standard and don't even get me started on how strong it could be in Wild.
This is an incredibly versatile card. I could see it becoming a Rogue staple for the future, no matter what the deck is. The combos you can pull off with this could be fun.
I'm somewhat torn on this card. Rogue revolves around tempo strategies and Tenwu of the Red Smoke looks less tempo driven when compared to Shadowstep. Shadowstep is useful in early and late game scenarios as well as having the ability to bank the 2 mana reduction for a future turn. Also, Rogue decks maintain a low mana curve strategy, only including higher cost cards if they are absolutely crucial to their game plan. Considering this, Tenwu looks more limiting as you have to pay 2 mana upfront for the bounce, the cost reduction only applies for that turn, and your looking for more high cost targets to bounce and replay to maximize the cost reduction, which are limited in number in Rogue decks.
For glory, honor, and gold!
This card seems quite strong. It's worse than Shadowstep on small minions, but it's a lot better on large ones, and it gives you a way to reuse strong Battlecries on expensive cards. Kronx Dragonhoof in particular is really good with this in Galakrond Rogue, but there's quite a bit more that can be done with it. Seems like a pretty good card to me.
Essentially with Shadowstep in hand you can bonce anything for another battlecry trigger for a mere 1 mana.
Its just a versatile and strong card, and will definitely see play. Right out of the bat Kronx seems to be the best target for this card. There may be better ones down the line.
Welcome to a whole new era of combo - I love those cheap and effective legendaries
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Least Team 5 is playing it safe with the "It costs (1) this turn." text
You might find that during playtesting, the card didn't have this text, which enabled some broken combos
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
Card with lots of potential. Pretty sure it will see play somewhere through its standard life.
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)
Wins per class (2/6/22): DH-197; Druid-996; Hunter-91«60; Mage-1056; Paladin-1126; Priest-746; Rogue-961; Shaman-1095; Warlock-871; Warrior-906
Yeah, I always forget about the rotation, you're right. But I feel that Shadowstep is causing design team headaches, maybe returned cards should cost (1) less.
About the new Kronx combo, I thought in the context of Rogue early chip damage, this will be a very strong finisher, that is also very flexible (10-15 heal in Rogue is very strong, also double Taunt is great). So it may be a bit problematic.
Shadowstep is certainly one of those cards that can be quite dangerous, but equally it has never actually been a notable problem in the meta. I have long felt that rogue is the one class they know how to keep balanced, largely because it's the one class they have remained committed to not giving any taunt or healing*, so it always has a glaring weakness to aggro that is easy to exploit if the class ever gets too strong.
* Yes, lifesteal on weapons has been a thing, but since Leeching Poison was changed this has always been easy to solve with any weapon removal, and it isn't present in Standard in any case.
You rightly raise multiple Kronx giving taunt and/or healing and/or AoE, which would shore up the primary weaknesses of the class. Generally speaking, I agree that having a way to fill in weaknesses like that is very dangerous. The only reason I don't think it is really problematic in this case is that big Kronx turns happen too late in the game to help much against aggro, so at an archetype vs archetype level it doesn't make as big a difference as you might expect.
Cool reply, your arguments are valid. I would also like Shadowstep to stay untouched, it really is fundamental to many Rogue decks (and it's my fav class). The biggest problem with it was probably Jenkins.
Cool thing about this new powerplay is that it may be key to some less agressive wild Rogue decks in the future.
If Rogue finds a way to consistently out-tempo aggro decks early (and maybe new 4 mana neutral heal could help too), it may become too good for standard meta. We'll see how things unfold. :)
I saw this card and I immediately thought "There's going to be shenanigans!"
Solid looking card allows for cheesy bounce and combos although I wouldn't really want to unpack this per say
Self proclaimed good at battlegrounds
Best Rogue card in this expansion really, by a mile.
You definitely run this just for the great tempo swings, even if you aren't planning on having big combos like Kronx Dragonhoof in your deck.
I don't think anyone here has made the mistake, but to reiterate because you saw a lot of it if you checked other (less clever than us, clearly =P) places - you aren't doing a Malygos combo with this. It doesn't work. Remove that idea from your mind.
Welcome to the site!
Better bouncer, good with any high-value battlecries. Could even be used with big minions to restore them to full health. Very strong card, even just on something like Foxy Fraud or SI-7

Only good with large battlecry minions you would want to play 2 of in a turn. If that becomes a deck, this is easy 5 stars.
This looks very strong in the right deck.
Shadow step but better
All hail the banshee queen.
Alongside with old gods is for sure the card I'm most interested in. For wild this can be nuts on every rogue deck.
Xbox gamertag - Psymonjet
Useful for the high-value, but not too costly Battlecries of Kronx and Heistbaron Toggwaggle.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
My favorite name of the set. I wish I was of the red smoke.
Chumbawumba is the worst band name.
This looks like either a cheap enabler of combo effects or a way to double up some of the better battlecry minions. I'm not sure which would be better.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
Better Brewmaster, with the bonus being that it allows neat tricks like a double-Kronx turn. In other words, it gives Rogue a Shadowstep while also putting more stats on the board and in a lot of cases is better than Shadowstep. Dare I say this card is just...good? It's going to see play just because it's a cheap, functional utility minion with solid stats and a versatile effect. Rogue eats that up.
I don't want to cure cancer; I want to turn people into dinosaurs.
This can enable some crazy combos, it's a very strong option for sure
