Concede before your opponent plays C'thun.

If you haven't noticed yet. For SOME REASON when you die to new c'thun from full health because your rogue opponent is a lucky piece of human trash. You can't concede. You are forced to watch the entire animation, from start to finish before the game lets you leave.

I don't remember this being the case for old C'thun but it sure is a bad feeling when you're stuck there with the slow animation plinking you down from full health. ESPECIALLY after watching your opponent get lucky all game as had happened to me.

  • Since there's an achievement attached to killing an opponent from full health with C'Thun, the last thing I am going to do is deny them that just so I can save myself a few seconds.

I do, however, fully agree the C'Thun animation should speed up to be as fast as the old one.
