Concede before your opponent plays C'thun.

If you haven't noticed yet. For SOME REASON when you die to new c'thun from full health because your rogue opponent is a lucky piece of human trash. You can't concede. You are forced to watch the entire animation, from start to finish before the game lets you leave.
I don't remember this being the case for old C'thun but it sure is a bad feeling when you're stuck there with the slow animation plinking you down from full health. ESPECIALLY after watching your opponent get lucky all game as had happened to me.

Living like that.
Since there's an achievement attached to killing an opponent from full health with C'Thun, the last thing I am going to do is deny them that just so I can save myself a few seconds.
I do, however, fully agree the C'Thun animation should speed up to be as fast as the old one.
