Man there's gonna be a lot of Neutrals polluting the pool now, won't there? Not sure about this Taunt build, smells a lot like Demons and Pirates to me. Stats can only get you so far. Eventually it's about cleaves, poisons, windfuries and divine shields. And these offer none of those. Then again, if the taunt build is strong enough and hits hard enough, games may be even shorter (god please no, I can't take it anymore) so poisonous divine shield bullcrap might be harder to come by. Also worth noting that this build will be available every...single...game. Never banned. If it's good, it'll get old real fast. If it's bad, it's just gonna make the pool worse.
Besides that, the new Demon makes me think it might be a decent transitional piece for Juggler Demons. But again, at the end of the day it's just a big dumb body with no effects.
I mean... you don;t necessarily need only those Neutrals to make the Taunt build work. I suppose Mechs with those new cards can do fine because of Annoy-o-Module giving both Taunt and Divine Shield, and with Foe Reaper 4000, a cleave effect. Beasts with Houndmaster can also give you Taunt while also adding a cleave or Poisonous from other beasts.
My takeaway from this: Wait, Sir Finley was removed from the hero pool
They removed Shifter Zerus... but... but... the memes...
It seems they are slowly removing the constructed minions from the pool. Once the game leaves beta, there should only be Battlegrounds minions left. I feel like they didn't need to remove Crowd Favorite for now. The card was fine. The others won't be missed though. Also, i'm surprised that Junkbot has not been removed. The card is simply not viable in its current state.
Junkbot should be unnerfed to Tier4. He was problem in past because he was one of the biggest pile of stats, but today he's nothing compared to elementals.
Lots of cool synergy with Taunt minions; should be interesting. I like the Champion of Y'Shaarj in particular.
Alright, I’m ready to cancel Hearthstone now that they’ve removed Zerus
