Miracle Mage
I'm confused as to what type of mage play we should be going for. Cards like this one, which I think will mainly be used to try and get extra secrets, push the smaller burn mage. Yet, cards like Kalecgos are definitely going for bigger spells. I know we have both versions of odd mage now, will there be enough support for both styles going forward?
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
Yup, this card is definitely well suited to a "cheap spells" mage, which can now be pushed more safely after the Mana Wyrm nerf. However, I think it's worth noting that Secrets are a pretty large portion of mage spells that cost 3 or less, so you can very consistently see at least once secret when you play this card. Random secrets are often pretty good because your opponent won't have as much of an idea of which secret you just played!
I always have a lot of decks during spoiler season if you want some ideas; remember, most of the internet would not function if there weren't plenty of users willing to volunteer their time to provide content and assistance for one another!
Gotta love that card art :D It's a 'small' Primordial Glyph, I like it, but it's definitely not as strong and versatile as that card. I'm hoping for an interesting 'Small Spell Mage'.
These new cheap spells might make Tempo mage in Wild stronger. Imagine Flamewaker was still in Standard...
