This just seems really strong in most Druid decks. It effectively makes Nourish playable again (although I think there will be better stuff than that) and it helps with tempo in general.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Anubisath Defender and Umbral Owl are good because they can make an immediate impact with Taunt or Rush. This doesn't have any keywords, nor can it fully negate its own cost. It doesn't seem worth a slot in your deck... but then, I've always underestimated this sort of card!
Better call Thrall!
Seems like a really solid minion. Strong on like turn 5 alongside Overgrowth and it's basicly free with alongside any 3 cost spell. I think Nordrassil Druid will see play in a lot of druid decks. Also it would actually fit in Clown/spell Druid very well considering Anubisath Defender is going to rotate soon, and Nordrassil Druid seems like a good replacement.
The downside of this card is that it's slow because it doesn't have rush or taunt, but it's still ramp and most importantly mana cheat. NEVER underestimate ANY kind of mana cheating.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
It can generate a body and help keep ramping or whatever you are doing but I dunno, I don't see this in any kind of current druid archetype aside from highlander, which since highlander cards are rotating there isn't any point in playing that.
All of the existing archetypes are about to change drastically. As one of the stronger new Core cards, this will definitely see play, at least during the first expansion of the year.
Not bad, this is essentially a 1 mana 3/5 if you are casting a spell that turn. Downside is it has an anti Synergy with Fungal Fortunes.
Its basically a lesser Anubisath Defender. The problem with this card is that its not a taunt, and it does cost a net mana of 1, and if you're low on cards you can't just overflow/nourish into this this.
So whether this will make the cut will entirely be dependent on how easy it is to cheat it out or if druid is drawing so absurdly that not including a 1 mana 3/5 will be considered grounds for being sectioned.
My opinion is that it wont make the cut. But with 3 expansions to go I can easily be proven wrong on this.
With Landscaping, it's 3/5 + 2/2 + 2/2 on turn 3 or 4. That is a LOT of pressure.
It also lets you Corrupt Moontouched Amulet and play it the same turn.
No Savage Roar, though. I don't know if Token Druid is going to be consistent enough when they're down a finisher.

I'm the only one who stops to see if he's dead.
Hmm. Turns out he's dead.
Every conceivable archetype in the game is getting hit with this rotation. For every Savage Roar, there's an Eviscerate that's also going away.
It's a decent card with reminiscent affect to Lunar Eclipse. I'm sure it'll see play somewhere throughout the year
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
I'm just not seeing the strong plays available with this. If you could bank the cost reduction for next turn (like with Nature Studies), it would be amazing. If it had rush or taunt (like people mentioned above), it would be a solid tempo play. But it's just a cheap 3/5.
