The high/low roll of Shaman cards were expected and went along the lines of the class identity... nature and the elements are unpredictable so why not have this reflected in the spells also?
Great buff, no longer have to pray to the Yogg for the high rolls.
This buff really helped out, before this card always felt bad for you or your opponent because of the high rolls. But now it's flat 3 damage, and that's really good! 3 Health actually still removes a lot of things, and it against aggro you can always play Landslide the turn after. Lightning Storm has always been a helpful card, and with this buff it will only get better.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
