New Priest Minion - High Priest Amet

Euhm. This one looks pretty strong. Combo in one card but card comes from hand instead of already on the board. Euh wait. It says change its health and not attack. Mmm. Then it is a lot less threatening I guess. Opponent can try to keep its health at 1 :) then priest first has to heal it up before playing a minion.

7 health northshire clerics all over the place.

Don't know, if it's good enough, though.

Combo Priest is back? I mean, this doesn't seem too bad at all. Play it, throw a Power Word: Shield or a Divine Spirit on it and start playing High Attack, Low Health Minions. Seems legit....

 I actually got battered by a dude playing a Lady in White earlier this week, so the synergy is certainly there. Anything that turns Priest players away from these damn Rez effects has to be a good idea.

Damn. Was hoping the late reveal on priest legendaries, plus the poor state of priest in the meta, meant the class was getting some insane, or at least interesting, legendaries.

Instead we're getting... combo priest?

Wow this is VERY interesting card, I think I'm going to have a lot of fun with it... just few good synergies ideas:

1) Token generators - Microtech Controller, Replicating Menace

2) Crazy spell token generators - Sand Drudge (infinite 1/7 taunts), Violet Teacher

3) Cards that are just better with hiher health - Zilliax, Psychopomp

4) CHICKENS! - Gurubashi Chicken, Angry Chicken

If you manage to stick it on board for a turn you could do some silly stuff with Magic Carpet and a load of 1-drops (chickens, as Thriss says above).

Probably only good in a board control meta though, and even then probably not that strong.

jea go chickens :-).  And beside if you are EU maybe i am the guy with the lady and the batterheads ^^.

WIll certainly try to make an Angry Chicken deck. Created one before, unbelievable but won first game with it, lost all 20 others I played so I gave it up.

Combined with Zerek's Cloning Gallery and a deck filled with Star Aligner could set off some nice fireworks? Ah no that is a battlecry so will not fly immediately, but with two Aligners in hand and board full of 7 health minions, well...you might be able to get it off.

Opens up some new paths in the old DS/IF decks. A lot of cute things you can do.

This is one of those 'hard to evaluate because it enables some pretty insane possible combos, and there are too many that are honestly kind of fringe at the moment but we'll have to wait and see what else gets released and how fast the new meta is' cards. 

I'm assuming a minion being reborn counts as it being summoned? Either way, that seems like a pretty niche application of this card, not to mention that Amet can become a detriment if your opponent sets his health to 1.

I doubt this will see much play past the initial experimentation phase and if it does, it's probably just going to be  DS+ Inner Fire deck #212648246812. I was kind of hoping they'd introduce a new Priest archetype in this set to make up for murdering Mind Blast but so far I'm pretty underwhelmed.

Interesting card to play effectively, as it really needs to do something the same turn to be a significant power spike. After it hits the board, one's opponent could leave it up with low health to effectively nerf subsequent drops (or effectively make them cost more mana / cards to heal him up first).

This card has so many insane combos, it almost has to be okay.

Turn 9 with coin or turn 10.  High Priest Amet + 2 Divine Spirint,  1 Stonetusk Boar and either Inner Fire or Topsy Turvy   = 28 damage minion with charge.

I guess this makes reborn minions even stickier now.  I don't how how good this minion is, but it is clearly much better than Dollmaster Dorian. I will probably try some Master Oakheart synergies in wild.

Eww!  Buff its health and stick a few taunts in front of it.  Even Target Dummies would do the job.

And then bung in Kel'Thuzad because why wouldn't you? :)
