Interaction between Darkbishop Benedictus & C'thun?

Hello there

Does anyone know how those two will Interact?

Could i put C'thun in my deck and still enter Shadowform with Benedictus at the start of the game? Because if C'thun happens before him not all my spells are Shadow Anymore and therefor he will not grant me Shadowform right?

Which one proccs first?

Considering you can put C'thun into an Even-Deck without any issues, that should be totally possible!

I've read that is totally random.

The prevailing idea (dont ask me about source, I read about this long ago in a reddit thread) is that start of game effects will trigger according to how the cards are shuffled in the deck. So if Benedictus is ahead of cthun in the deck at the start of the game, then benedictus will trigger first followed by cthun (which means you get the shadowform). But if cthun is ahead then this will trigger first (which means you dont get shadowform)

Its not possible to control this, you just have to get lucky. You can already try this by slotting cthun into an even deck.

I have been playing Even Mage with C'thun in wild for some time and without fail, Genn went off as he is supposed to every time. Don't know if that will prevail with Benedictus, though...

Ok, thanks for all the information - i guess i have to wait and see what happens when i put C'thun in the deck as soon as the expansion drops.

I'm guessing the priest quest will prevent it though even though it starts it your hand, right? 

I'm fairly certain that it should work.

You never put those spells in your deck, C'thun put them, and it's a minion that at the start of your game shuffles them in there, your deck must not have a different spell school in the "deck building" phase.

As stated above, Even decks can run C'thun, so I'm sure that it will work.
