Bartender Bob sure has plenty of friends that are willing to take over the Battlegrounds tavern! Medivh is the next bartender that will be arriving to talk to us and brings in some much needed One Night in Karazhan flavor to Battlegrounds.
We've put together a preview of his voicelines. Stay a while and listen!

Alright, now BG can be canonically explained as Medivh's party gone wrong (right?)
Let me guess, paying real money is the only way to get him?
The more I listen to his voicelines, the more I hear Austin Powers. I can't help it, and I need to pass on my disease.
Usually i have zero interest in BG cosmetics but this Bartender "Gala Medivh" is just too good to not consider.
Exactly my thought. Still, I refuse to pay money for BG skins. Gold would be an option for me
so you can't have it since BG is 100 % F2P cosmetics are mandatory behind paywall. HS skins/cardback made 7 years to become purchasable in gold.
He sounds not drunk enough.
I'm not a WOW expert, but I don't think he wants to be drunk. He wants *you* to be so drunk that you're throwing up, so that he can commiserate.
I promised to myself I will never buy "just a cosmetics" , already broke it once for Sylvanas skin first time she arrived and it looks like I will do it again. Sorry Bob, but Party Medivh is just too cool. Well played, Blizz.
Dear Blizzard, please have the ONIK music playing in the background if you have this Medivh as your bartender and I'll literally pay you double for this skin. I love that song so much...

Hearthstone really needs a music box. I've thought about this exact thing for years.
Let people complete an achievement to unlock the ability to play different music in the box. It could be as simple as go and complete the ONIK adventure and you could play its theme in the box. It would take very little development time to make this a reality (compared to other features) - I could easily hack this into the game in an afternoon - and it would be an amazing thing for players.
It's pretty damn telling that many of the game's formats are currently in various advanced stages of BROKEN but what occupies the majority of space on news sites is not "all the things we're going to do to make things better". It's an endless spam of how many more cosmetic .jpegs you can now buy for retarded amounts of money. Seriously, where are the times when you could just buy a game and be confident in not being aggressively advertised to to buy more shit for something you already bought. Yeah Hearthstone is a free-to-play game but it already requires a hefty investment of either time or money to keep up with in just the constructed formats, now we're getting another format that has its own separate progression and thus, monetisation, that will potentially siphon tons of money from people who already pay tons for constructed and yet apparently it's not enough. There simply has to be a full front page of new cosmetics every week else the game is just not profitable enough apparently.

No one "buys" Battlegrounds. You can get the pass, but you don't have to. When you play a free game where the monetization is primarily through cosmetic items, yes, you should expect a lot of cosmetic items to be released and promoted.
If you aren't cool with that, stop playing, following and caring about free games.
Also, cosmetic items are created by the art department. No matter how many skins they add, it takes absolutely nothing away from development of any game mode across all of Hearthstone. If you want to complain about the state of Hearthstone (and rightfully so), your beef is with the design team and live team of Hearthstone.
In the last 24 hours, two articles were posted about upcoming balance updates:
There were also about a half dozen substantive articles about the new Mercenaries mode. The news comes in at whatever pace it comes in, and I hardly think you should fault a news site for posting new content once it's known to them. It's true that right now the front page is mostly cosmetics, but that's just the order those updates became available as news.
What? You need to invest time to keep up with constructed? What a shame!
What they made a seperate game within the Hearthstone universe and want to make some profit with the new mode? How dare they!
You rant doesnt make any sense at all. Balance updates are coming next Tuesday, so I really dont care that there are more cosmetics coming out.
That complaint is even more ridiculous because Blizzard wasn’t behind this news blitz in any way. It’s just how OOC decided to present the information that they researched without any help from Blizzard. (Presumably because OOC knows their readers want this information?)
Every Bartender skin seems more awesome than the one before it. Well, except Ve'nari who I find kinda boring and forgetable.
She has meaning if you enjoy interacting with her in WoW Shadowlands, but that's about it and not what I'd say the majority of HS players ID as.
News information overflow....
