Decent Handbuff target but probably not really practical. It's a beast at least, but I have no idea what kind of deck would care about this.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Decent with handbuffs, and maybe librams. Actually maybe libram paladin might slot it in, because it can become a BIG threat that can win the game on the spot if not dealth with immediately.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Pack filler.
Arena card. Personal Opinion, but not a big fan of Honorable Kill effects that can only trigger once. It's almost as if this was made to rush into two things, in which case it probably doesn't live. At 5 mana, that makes it a worse Restless Mummy, and that card was power crept this expansion.
I mean realistically if it kills two 3 mana minions, you're left with a 3/1 windfury minion on the table. That's better than restless mummy don't ya think

Terrible even if you manage to trigger the honor kill. It'll deal with two minions but will likely be dead itself. So its a 5 mana removal option. Plenty of those elsewhere. Costs too much, and if you cant trigger its honor kill you've just shafted yourself.
Its stats are too weak, in the dream scenario (kill a 3 health minion then kill something else) it's just okay. In all other scenarios it's bad.
If you can manage to make the first honorable kill, can kill 2 minions, but that condition it's very difficult to get
It has a lot more potential than this - I think - I'm seeing Arena and Handbuff shenanigans
But in terms of design, you agree with you ; uninspired common card that won't be that memorable
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Basic Honorable kill effect, but pretty good nonetheless. This can be buffed while in hand or on the board to guarantee the windfury but will probably only be on any value in arena where you want the board presence.
Not sure why a hippogryph needs to honorably kill something, seeing as it's just a beast that doesn't care about honor, but ok, I'll go with it,
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
So if you drop this when there's a 3 health minion on the board you can get one more attack out of this. I wonder if this would be any better if it said "you can attack again" so you could get chain kills out of this. Probably not significantly.
Might be interesting with handbuffs to help it stick to the board, but that windfury can't go face the turn its played, and it curves into free windfury with Battleground Battlemaster, so I think you'd pretty much always want to play a more impactful 5-drop.
So technically 3/4 for 5 mana with windfury if it does HK as intended. Maybe in druid with Guardian Animals?
Rush and Windfury are nothing to laugh at. the 5 mana cost is somewhat difficult to get around.
The windfury should be permanent after the first HK, right? If this sticks long enough for you to buff it on the next turn it can become devastating. Even if you don't get the windfury, it will still be useful as a rush removal tool.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
There's weird tension here with handbuff shenanigans, because you can actually make it too strong and have it be unable to trigger its own ability - without the Windfury it's so much worse.
Still, that's a hefty amount of Health, so maybe you don't care if you can't get it to trigger past a certain point?
Welcome to the site!
This could actually be really powerful. Windfury and Rush are a really great combo, and finding a 3-Health minion to hit first shouldn't be too difficult. It's definitely going to be very good in Arena, and I think I wouldn't bet against it finding a home in Standard.
I don't want to cure cancer; I want to turn people into dinosaurs.
Might be good, but at the same time seems too vanilla that it falls by the wayside.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
Bad card, seems like they intentionally make Windfury cards bad. The new legendary Windfury minion is kind of an exception to this rule.
Decent arena card, but rather lackluster anywhere else.
