New Hunter Minion - Stormpike Battle Ram

Well shit, Hunter gets ramp now apparently. Curves into Bear and probably some other stuff I'm forgetting. This unironically looks like it could make bigger beasts playable again. Can also chain it with parrots although that makes very little sense.

Pretty good stats with mana cheat? That sounds good. I don't believe in big beast hunter, but this might even just be good to discount your Trampling Rhino in Face Hunter (if there's enough targets for both of them to rush into).

Seems good for some combo stuff, and cheating out big minions. Seems decent to me.

4 attack Rush and great mana discount for later. I'm really liking the mana discounts aren't just "this turn only" this expansion.

If Mountain Bear cost (5), then it may be good

Its good but inconsistent, and that's usually a clue for whether it'll be a viable card for ranked.

In standard at least there's really not too many things you can do with cheaper beasts. You can get mama Mountain Bear early on 5, which is great, but since this card is also a deathrattle it pretty much messes up the pool for both Revive Pet and Jewel of N'Zoth, so what's the end game here? Even mama bear can't win entire games on her own.

But it does have rush, and if there was ever more big beasts, this might just make the cut. And hey, it makes good ol' King Krush 7 mana, so if you squint just a little you'll see the old highlander hunter in standard again.

For now, its just a maybe, very small maybe.

I don't mind hunter getting tools to go towards a more midrange/control style.  What I don't like to see is King Krush still around.  (I hate charge as a mechanic)

I'm not sure how beast Hunter is as an archetype, but this will probably be good in just about any deck that uses beasts.

Stats aren't premium so there's that. The mana cheat for hunter seems awkward, but guess that's the only way to play big stuff in this game now. It has potential if the big beast stuff works out in standard, but it'll probably end up being used in a wild meme OTK King Krush deck instead.

They really went far with Ironforge/Dwarvish theme for Hunter this year, feels good.

Because it's deathrattle effect spans turns, this is a really solid card. In theory it curves into Mountain Bear (though I doubt that sees play). More likely you'll play this to cheat out some cheap beasts in a Midrange Beast Hunter deck that leverages the various deathrattle synergies the class has right now..

I really like this.  If the next beast you play has Rush as well, then this could be a great board recovery minion

First off, I love this art. I wanted it to be a tauntaun from the Star Wars universe at first glance. I like the mana banking effect that it gives you. This could help enable a big beast hunter deck.

Very powerful, it have immediate effect on board and deathrattle. It can enable some strong combos that we will be seeing, mainly MarkMcKz

Love seeing an effect that doesn't force you to do it all on one turn. Solid card for any Hunter deck running a decent number of Beasts, which you may incidentally be doing anyway.

We're probably going to see some kind of combo deck that abuses the Cost reduction with Revive Pet and other stuff. Hunter Combo decks usually aren't much more than memes, but I'm excited to see what people come up with.

If Midrange Hunter makes a comeback, expect this to be everywhere.

Mana cheat for big beasts. Good card because it also has rush.

A strong card with a good effect, might even work in more aggressive decks by making the next Rhino cheaper.
