When leap of faith is on cooldown they just die in fire.
Living like that.
Looks like a pretty good control tool. For one it's more Quest Shaman support (and while the deck might not need it right now it will post-rotation because it loses pretty much everything that makes it good right now), but more importantly it helps post rotation (and even current) Freeze Shaman decks that rely on Multicaster for draw.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Reminds me of Volcano but reduced damage since it can’t hit friendlies.
Quick! Someone give me something clever to write here.
Shaman always had problems clearing boards in the early game, and this card fills that gap so well, while not destroying your board to boot.
But the reason why this card would probably see more play than just quest shaman is because its a fire spell, and one that doesn't threaten to skip your next turn Perpetual Flame, wink* wink*. Shaman is already playing Multicaster, so this fits rather well.
Its downside is its cost. But it can be a potential boon, corrupting Dunk Tank, while also ruining the opponent's board.
This feels like weaker Perpetual Flame. 5 Mana + 1 overload is a lot for a spell that can't go face.
I feel this will only be decked as fire spell for Multicaster and as a AOE redundancy card. Will prolly see more play as a discovered card.
Volcano that deals 5 less damage, but overloads 1 less. Oh and it also targets only enemy minions, that's i.m.o. better than all minions. Great board clear if you ask me. Volcano still sees play every so often, so i don't see why Don't Stand in the Fire! wont.
Standard: Must-include in control/OTK shaman decks, Don't Stand in the Fire! really helps those decks survive.... Now that i say that, uhmm.. hey... OTK players.. uhm... i tried to say that it's a 0/10 card, so uh.. you *definatly* should NOT include this in your bolner Y'shaarj OTK decks. Oh and obviously Questline shamans will love this.
Wild: Honestly idunno. Volcano vs Don't Stand in the Fire! is going to be a really interesting thing to watch. I'm really interested to see if the -5 damage dealth in exchange for not damaging your own minions and 1 less overload is worth it.
Also i REALLY love the flavor of this card. It also really reminds me of a certain Captain Grim video lol.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Minefield and Dark Skies were already annoying enough, this doesn't even hit your own minions. We will have to wait and see, if 5 cost is too much, but most likely not and will massacre early boards by itself and/or let shaman push the advantage created for himself. I already don't like this card.

There are lots of cards that deal x damage randomly split. Here's another one. 10 damage on turn five with the cost of 1 overload that doesn't hit friendlies looks pretty powerful. Not hitting face could even be an advantage.
I really like this for the current meta. There are a fleet of minions that are played with a low health and being able to clean sweep a lot of them with cards like this is going to be amazing.
Looks good and is another support for Quest Shaman - this could also work in control Decks for sure! 10 Damage is not a small amount of damage !
