statstick, but a good one. Question is where do you put it? Is it good enough to run in any deck or do you need more synergy?
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Seems like a strong option for a midrange shaman deck, and like in the wronchi reveal i think murloc shaman will run this. But i think some slower shaman decks might consider this as well, because of the 3 2/2 taunts it summons. Also i love how BIG Glugg the Gulper is, really makes it FEEL collosal!
It seems very good against aggro, but i think it's not good at all against control. 5 health is easy to remove, and most classes have acces to single target removal. Also it has negative synergy with Snowfall Guardian, which is only a good thing i.m.o. This seems like a really good card.
In wild i'm not sure what deck it goes into though. Evolve shaman might run it, but i feel like they have better options. Burn shaman doesn't care about board so they wont run it. Shudderwock shaman already has a way different gameplan, and better board control options. The deck i think might experiment with Glugg the Gulper is Unite the Murlocs shaman, because it absorbs the stats and can act as a late game stat bomb.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Its probably not very good.
It has a murloc's chance in hell that it'll survive the turn its played, no matter how big it is. In most cases, the best part of the card would be the three taunts it spawns along with itself, which at very least means youre not skipping your turn without affecting board. Laughably, this card can't even inherit stats from usually big stated cards in shaman like Snowfall Guardian, because it takes the original stats rather than whats on board.
Im at a loss as to what kind of shaman would play this card to be honest. Removal has only gotten more efficient as hearthstone ages, so much so that even if this was a 10/10 on turn 7 there's still a decent chance that it either gets frozen or plain destroyed, long before it ever snowballs you to victory.
Its only hope is that the meta switches to such a state where decks aren't equipped to deal with massive stat monsters. In which case this has a semblance of a chance to be good. But so much has to be contrived before this gets a second look at all.
It's pretty cool, since it could get very big. Unfortunately, big balls of stats don't do too well in Constructed and this is just one Silence away from being a huge waste of everyone's time anyway. It's also a huge problem that it gets the minion's "original stats" so you can't even do weird buff shenanigans for some fringe OTK deck. It's probably not going to be great and, honestly, it's not even that interesting.
I don't want to cure cancer; I want to turn people into dinosaurs.
Not so terrible as it could seems at first sight. If you play it with minions on board + cheap rush minions you could easily have an unexpected huge minion for your opponent.

You might be able to get extra stats if you are using this in conjunction with Muckmorpher. If your Muckmorpher changes into a 4/4 copy of Deathwing then it should give you 12/12 more attack and health instead of 4/4 because Deathwing is the original. Yeah, I think Muckmorpher might be coming to the core set!
Clearly the best artwork of the entire set. I just love how they inconspicuously wrote 'sex' in the card's appendages. 69/10 for artistic style! I might have to brewmaster the first part and play it on the end for the luls. Speaking of which , can this be the way we get the hidden achievement card back next time. I really don't want to navigate 4 fucking random dungeons blindly Celestalon!
That's a huge pile of stats on the board, and could be annoying to deal with for decks that don't have hard removal. Not sure whether this will be any good though, could slot in a midrange Shaman deck.
Gain its original stats. So if you buff your other minions, it doesn't get the current stats. Still, when the entire tail dies it becomes a 9/11. IIRC, stats doesn't include keywords, so it doesn't get taunt. Unfortunately the taunts die against pretty much all AoE, so you could still get killed next turn.
And I'll add to that list its anti-synergetic tribe tag : Beast ?
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Good card - not the best but not bad - could see play in midrange/control

Pretty flavorful colossal, but then again, so are all the others. It's obviously a must-kill Colossal or it keeps scaling. The 3 taunts are also good at stalling, or a last ditch effort at staying alive. Some classes might battle to remove Glugg, so I remain optimistic that he'll see play
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
Neat effect, turns scary against decks that struggle against targeting around taunts and/or taking out big minions.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
It can certainly scale up to have scary stats, but will it live long enough to do so? Not sure it'll see much play.
