This reminds me of Deadly Arsenal
Deadly Arsenal was better
That's how bad this is
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Deadly Arsenal requires you to run high-attack weapons in a Control deck.
Deadly Arsenal forces you to not run any utility weapons like Blood Razor or Ancharrr.
Deadly Arsenal fizzles if you've already drawn your weapons.
Deadly Arsenal has no additional upsides.
Deadly Arsenal is in a class that is already filthy with great board clears.
Deadly Arsenal is really expensive for a boardclear for some godforsaken reason.
This is not even close to Deadly Arsenal.
A man is lying on the street, some punks chopped off his head
I'm the only one who stops to see if he's dead.
Hmm. Turns out he's dead.
So this is kinda like Dragon's Fury, but with any card and it dredges a card. This seems good in a BIG DH deck, which i like to see more support for. However that being said, it's also anti-synergy because it doesn't work that well with Vanndar Stormpike, which is often a trend with most of the new "good in a BIG deck" cards this mini-set...
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
For a class like Demon Hunter, this is good removal.
Spice Lord and self-proclaimed Meme Master.
Not going to lie, this card sucks.
The problem with this card is that dhunters tend to play cheap stuff, and paying 5 mana to not deal with the board is about as bad as it gets. The only way you'd come close to making good with this would be to play something like Ambassador Faelin or Azsharan Defector so the board clear is guaranteed.
I dont think I need go further. A board clear that's inconsistent sucks, end off. Costing 5, not a chance.
I would tend to disagree with that. The improvements on Deadly Arsenal though are pretty solid. The cost is lower, albeit by one. The Dredge allows you to choose which card you want, to maximize the damage output. And the Dredge sets you up to draw as well. So while it may not be the best card DH or other classes may have seen it is still improved.
How doesn't this work with Vanndar Stormpike? I'm seeing this a Dredge ANY card, minion or spell. So if you have spells that are higher cost or you drop this before Vanndar it's solid, right?
Vanndar Stormpike reduces cost of minions = less damage... At least that's how i think it works. (Tbh HS is inconsistant with effects like this and cost reduction sometimes.)
