This is truly hilarious. It can get passed those damned illusive minions.
Not sure how it works exactly, but it sounds like Okani but as a Secret. Disruption is always good, but I wonder if a 2-mana counterspell for minions is good enough. I guess it has to be if Secret Rogue is to exist.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
I wasn't too into this card at first, but then the more I think about it, this card is simply just a counterspell for minions. And for two mana it can be fairly devastating most of the time.
But its minions, and that's a million miles away from spells, something which practically made Oh My Yogg! as good as it was. The problem is that most good decks these days dont tend to rely on that many minions, and since this card doesn't actually remove the minion, its naturally weaker as the game progresses.
For what its worth, it at very least makes cards like Private Eye better. And like most secrets, its most dangerous quality is simply by existing, not necessarily being played.
I'm guessing the sack will be summoned on the secret owner's side, then when the sack is killed, it returns to minion to the hand of the player that initially played it. If I understood that dev comment correctly. Possibly good for slowing down your opponent, but I'm not sure how great this will be.
I had to check the actual token - Kidnapper's Sack - to know how the card would work, but the more I think about it, the better it is, especially because it returns said minions to their hand.
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
I don't care how good it turns out to be. I'm giving it 5 stars for design. (But I also think it's pretty good.)
So basically Sap and Blademaster Okani as a secret, but the battlecry does still trigger. Hmm i'm not sure about this secret. It still seems pretty good in case your opponent plays a rush card, or an big minion. This can really disrupt your opponent pretty often, but who knows. If this secret is popular than chances are that your opponent will play around it by playing a cheap battlecry minion first.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
If you run some silence or return the sack to your hand is a very powetrful tool for board clear, specially on later turns
Extremely dependent on how good non-Battlecries are, handing something like Macaw back to them is just asking for trouble.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
Doesn't seem super strong, so I doubt it'll see play by itself.
