I'd say this is the bad card. Unless your deck runs very heavy on weapon synergy, the downside isn't worth it I think.
I'm seeing this as a good card. If you're running Pirates with weapons, why not have another thing to swing in on your opponent. If they spend a turn casting a copy of the weapon, which they very well could play the next turn and punch you with it, that's mana that they can't use to thin out your side of the board... allowing you to go face... which is what Pirate Warrior does.
It could also be one of those situations where you don't care what dead cards they have in their hand, like if you play against Lightforged Cariel. They don't want to give up their The Immovable Object, so it clutters their hand.
Not even Pirate Warrior would run this because they just have no use for the weapon. What's the point of this?
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
I'll say one thing for it. At least its likely difficult for your opponent to correctly guess your choice most of the time so you can actually just treat it like a pirate that discovers weapons.
I still dont think its good, but there might be a world where you'd play this card just because its a 3 mana 3/4 pirate that does something. Might is the key word here.
Another one of those your opponent gets a free copy if they guess what you chose discover cards. Maybe harder for them to guess, unless 2/3 choices are terrible. Like all the rest of those cards I've seen, I'm not confident they'll be that good.
I think its decent. 3 Mana for 3/4 is ok and it gives you another weapon to go face - not sure if it will find place over other cards in Pirate Warrior but i think it is not as bad as most players think.
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
I don't think these guessing games are as fun as Team 5 seems to believe. This one encourages you to choose the second-best option because your opponent is bound to guess the best option, and most of the time what's best will be obvious to everyone. You could try some 5-head mind games and not expect your opponent to guess the best option, but that's usually going to backfire because most opponents aren't all that smart. But it does generate a weapon, and you can surely make better use of it than the opponent even if they get a copy, so 3 stars.
Meh this seems bad for a pirate card. You dont want your opponent to get a weapon most of the time, and pirate warrior prefers pirates that draw, or do other things. Also this effect is pretty much useless after The Juggernaut is on the field. I dont think this sees play, unless a weapon warrior deck becomes meta.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
I am thinking on the highroll of getting Remornia, Living Blade out of his battlecry and make an Remornia's duel with your opponent
Edit: Silly comment lol
You cant get remornia because the card starts as a minion.
O yeah, you are rigth man.
Sorry for the confusion
It is quite literally a double-edged sword ^^
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Not even Pirate Warrior wants this, and that's saying something!
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
Seems good to me, considering some classes can't really get much use out of most weapons. Might be worth running in Quest Warrior.
