Druid Card? Why not a Rogue/Hunter Card?
I need to see the DR druid cards, but I think that needs tons of support.
By The Holy Light!
Maybe I can dust off my Taunt DR Druid deck from ages ago! Hadronox, Sludge Belcher, Grizzled Guardian, N'Zoth, the Corruptor; those were the days. Throw in new stuff like Scrapyard Colossus, Mo'arg Forgefiend, and Archspore Msshi'fn.
In standard druid has as much deathrattle synergy as much as mage has buffs.
So unless this is yet more cruel jokes by team5, Im willing to bet big that druid would be getting a very powerful deathrattle card, in the same vein as Hadronox. Because if it doesn't then this card is just effing useless.
Is this where we're heading team5? Just kick more sand into deathrattle rogue's face. Give other classes better deathrattles and deathrattle triggers, because its not like rogue needs any themselves.
I'm also surprised that this focuses on deathrattles in druid, as it's never been part of that class's identity. In fact, they've been about the exact opposite: vitality and living creatures (beasts and treants, in particular). I know we're going to the Shadowlands and there's a big emphasis on souls and the afterlife, but the card's effect still sticks out like a sore thumb to me. I wonder if it started for another class and got shifted to druid later on in the set design process.
I mean, Hadronox is a significant Deathrattle minion, and Kobolds & Catacombs had numerous DR cards. Not much, but definitely not never.
What a great support card for Deathrattle Hunter and Rogue.
Now why the fuck is it in Druid?
That aside, this is pretty good. Assuming that DR Druid involves ramp so setting this up shouldn't be a problem and being able to bank the activations fo rbig swing turns sounds pretty solid.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Deathrattle Druid? That a thing? That doesn't seem to fit thematically with the nature class.
Still pretty early in the reveal process to have any sort of clue on what Deathrattle Druid could look like, but given the grim theme of this set, fair to assume Druid will be getting some deathrattools ..! ...
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Feign Death, only... not
This seems bad right now, but having the ability to trigger a deathrattle immediately is pretty good. I'm not 100% sure about it, but i'm pretty sure a dev said that druid will get some good deathrattles. Yet again not 100% sure. I think this will 100% see play whenever druid gets some good deathrattles.
In wild, this will see play. Especially in decks like Taunt druid, because you can insta-trigger Hadronox with this... even though Hedge Maze does take up board space.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
This location can be quite powerful and I'm assuming Druid will get more deathrattle support this expansion. Currently, here's all the deathrattle minions druid has access to: https://outof.cards/hearthstone/cards/?hsclass=2&hsclass=12&has_mechanics=5&collectible=yes&standard=yes&card_type=5
Not too many great ones atm but there is Taelan Fordring which is mostly used in Druid these days to draw all the big boys.
Also, Hedge Maze makes triggering Ozumat a lot easier now (albeit, you loose 1 tentacle due to the location)
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
Owls, mines, Stoneborn General, Sesselie ... there are plenty of ways to abuse this. Hadronox is probably the most boring synergy you could come up with. I give this 4 stars. I'd give it more, but only two activations seems a little stingy.
Just Stoneborn General and Sesselie makes me think Big DR Druid is going to be a thing.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
Even more support for Big Druid. With the new Legendary card, there's great potential to start creating huge boards that will be very difficult to clear.
Very powerful for some dethrattle/big hybrid archetype, that is always strong on druid becuase all the ramp.
Pretty sure this card is for a mid-late state of the match, when you can be more useful for trigger the deathrattles
