Good. Simply good. All these "2-mana deal 3 to a minion plus a little upside" cards (Frostbolt, Quick Shot, Penance) were and are pretty viable. And Rogue really likes discounting cards.
Had this been designed 2 years back it would be the most broken card ever made.
But in hearthstone nowadays, it suffers from redundancy. Backstab, once a card that never once been dropped, has indeed been dropped, so will a slightly better backstab see play? I'd much rather play Tooth of Nefarian because it can at very least hit face.
However, that said, this card might* make inclusion simply because it functions somewhat similar to Foxy Fraud, in that you're playing it just to add to the 'total cards played' pool for the turn. And since that's rogue's identity now, I guess for that reason this will see play. But the minute there's better ways to do that, this card would be quietly dropped.
Seems like a decent adition for miracle!

Cost reduction is great. Awesome synergy for the Miracle Rogue builds that is obviously intended
Well, if you can play this on curve, there probably isn't a whole lot that would survive this. I'm actually not sure how much you'd want to play this on curve, but a second free 2-drop would most likely be pretty damn good.
Does everything Rogue wants to do right now, so 4 stars.
Just think -- if it had come out last year, it would have required an honorable kill, which means it would have been totally meh.
This can be used with Prep to turn it into LIghtning Bloom. That's scary.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Amazing for starting combos, its mana cheat, works great with Necrolord Draka, Sinstone Graveyard and in wild Edwin VanCleef. This will see a LOT of play, as it is just so flexible.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Very strong if you can mange to use the second copy and the use the location and summon a big minion or playing Necrolord Draka to get a giant knife
Finally, a way to make Preparation discount apply to any card in my hand!
