Secret decks always need defensive options, and this is a good one, but it is terrible without the kicker, so 3 stars.
Eh... Secret Mage couldn't care less about this, at least in wild. With standard I don't see a lot of people playing it.
Paladin could use it since it summon taunters and they love to handbuff.
Rogue MAY use it, but I'm not sure why other than to be more defensive to build up a combo swing.
Hunter on the other hand I can see utilizing this since it will help them to protect their beasts they want on the board. But that is my impression.
Very good defensive stalling. I hope defensive Secret Mage is a thing because this can be a real backbreaker with the right setup.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
More support for secret decks.
The minion itself is fine. Two 2/5s on 4 is fairly difficult to completely clear away, but its low attack might hinder it somewhat because anything remotely useful would easily value trade this.
Ironically its actually scarier in paladin than both rogue and mage, because paladin can handbuff this card easily. And with their secrets being cheap and not exactly easy to trigger, this might turn out more consistent than it has any right to be.
Nice defensive tool for Secret Decks. 4 Mana for 4/10 stats in total seems pretty good.
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
Secret Mage/Rogue might work this expansion. I'm thinking Rogue will be better, but either way, this card should be good.
Yup, pretty terrible without a secret in play - but I guess this is what makes it balanced.
Agreed on the rating
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
I like it just because of the name, it amuses me.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
Might work as a defensive tool for Secret decks that need it, but it honestly doesn't seem all that amazing to me.
Seems pretty weak to me, not sure if secret decks in standard will use this... Maybe a more control focused secret mage? In wild 0/5 cards, free dust.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Very powerful synergy with Sketchy Stranger and Anonymous Informant
