Screw up with Arena rotation with SoU patch 15.0 (August 1st)
So apparently Blizzard messed up again. Yesterday's patch 15.0, that is a preparation for launch of the Saviors of Uldum, already activated the arena reset and new rotation is in (except SoU set). At least in the drafting pool.

- Kobolds and Catacombs
- Rastakhan's Rumble
- Saviors of Uldum
Random generation is said to still draw from the "old" sets tho (Basic, Classic, Naxxramas, Whispers of the Old Gods, Goblins VS Gnomes, The Witchwood, and Rise of Shadows) and reward pack for finishing the run is still Rise of Shadows pack.
Tho someone also reported, that the new Titanic Lackey is already showing up. Another person said, that their Gorillabot A-3 activated its battlecry, even tho he had no mechs on the board. Arena looks like a bloody mess right now!
Another thing that happened is that some* arena runs were retired. Meaning ppl who had unfinished runs got the free Arena Ticket and whoever was planning on doing so later, in time for the proper arena rotation on August 6th, can no longer do that. Unless they reset the arena again on the 6th, which one would assume will happen, since SoU still needs to be added into the mix.
If you have gold to spare, id advise you to start a new run right now, if you want to take a chance of the potential second reset that seems like it should happen. But keep in mind, you will draft a deck without SoU cards, so your deck will definitely be weaker when SoU hits if no reset happens, cause many new cards are looking like insane arena powerhouses, you can check our thoughts on the matter here.

BTW do arena resets now for a free ticket?
They do on each rotation, started in RoS. During that time there were two rotations and both gave the ticket. This fucked up rotation now gave me a ticket as well.

I totally forgot about it tbh I just saved gold to play arena post rotation.. Damn
Well, i was planning on making a reminder post today, we should had still have plenty of time. But i wake up and see this mess lol ... well, at least i made a recap post, to make ppl aware if nothing else :)
That being said, i would bet they will reset it again on the 6th, but cant be 100% sure after this.

Might have unexpectedly ended some good runs too that people wanted to finish. Would have been nice of them to give everyone a heads up if it was intended, but i feel like it wasnt. Interested to see a statement from them on this.

I have the patch downloaded and my run hasn't been retired? So maybe it depends on the person?

I did an arena 1 month ago and left it unfinished for the SOU rotation. But I guess I can start another one, in case there is a second rotation.

New Expansion Update + Arena Rotation + End of season .... I doubt anyone expected it to go smoothly. Keep in mind that the update for the mobile app might be delayed as well (as opposed to the PC client update)
Sh*t! I was planning to complete my arena run before 6th of August. I had a 2-0 arena run :( I was planning to reach 4-5 wins until I get 2 losses. Feels bad..

I've checked my Arena status and it is still active. I think some regions/time-zones faced that problem
This passed totally under my radar! Noone talked about that. Oh yeah, streamers were busy playing Uldum already.......
Feels good to play dragon synergy though! Un‘goro and Rastakhan are some of the best arena sets imo. This dragon synergy will probably be gone when SoU launche
