If for some reason you're running shadow aggro priest then this card would be your number 1 mulligan, assuming you can somehow get another shadow spell ready.
Although in hearthstone 2022, Im not exactly sure how good a 2/3 for 1 would be exactly. Seems like nowadays if youre not pushing a 3/4 on 1 its not going to make any impact, if not removed entirely with one card.
If control shadow priest is a thing, this 1 drop will be right in that deck. Might also see play in the aggro variant but you're contesting with Voidtouched Attendant there. Regardless, I'm keen to dust off my Darkbishop Benedictus again.

I'm not sure Priest's current shadow spell pool is good enough to make Shadow Priest a thing, but this would be a pretty good turn 1 card if it is.
Card prediction:
Scourge Shadow Blast
2 Mana Deal 5 damage to an enemy and your hero.
Decent (1) drop, effect easy enough to trigger, makes for a good turn 1, or a very frustrating top-deck late in the game ..

Pretty sick for Aggro/Midrange Shadow Priest. Not sure if that deck has any chance of resurfacing but it certainly needed something good to start off with.
I tried having fun once.

Amazing for shadow priest, very good minion.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Decent stats, probably wouldn't make the cut in more Minion-centric Shadow Priests back in Stormwind, but there's plenty of new shadow spells that could make the case for a different style from that.

Very solid 1 drop for aggro Priest, given how easy it should be to fulfill the Battlecry requirement.
