Mercenaries: Maestra positioning bug?

Submitted 2 years ago by

This keeps happening to me: between rounds, I place Maestra in the optimal position, then she moves over right after I click "ready," ruining my strategy. Has anyone else encountered this?

Sometimes when you move your mercs during the deployment phase the game reacts too slowly to the changes you made and reverts them, especially if you have a unstable internet connection (from what I've heard the mobile client especially has issues with that). Most of the time it auto-corrects itself. There is also the situation that if you change your position between the revert and the auto-correction that both the original and the just made changes get made, which can feel very unintuitiv. In short: Just wait a second or two before confirming the positions and you should be fine. That's atleast the experience I have.

Yes, I've noticed this too. That's why, afte the first couple times this happened, I made sure to click and drag carefully, then wait plenty of time for it to settle. Didn't matter. She always shifts as soon as I hit "ready."

The one where she drops in after a Merc dies. She always replaces the dead Merc, I know that. My issue comes up during a following round, after she is already on the board.
