Gains health? Or restores health (like from lifesteal)?
My guess would be 'both'; as in, Lifesteal counts, but so does Vampiric Blood.
...surely it must, right? Unless it's because "restores Health" wouldn't fit in the textbox, in which case we're in for some classic Hearthstone consistently-inconsistent memes :/
Ok, but will Vampiric Blood summon a 10/10 or two 5/5s?

It has potential but probably shit in practice.
The main problem is its high cost, and there not being any cheap cards that actively allows you to take advantage of it. Assuming that team5 is pushing rainbow DK hard (and it seems like they are) then we can easily assume that there must be some card not revealed that will make this better.
But honestly though, the card is too slow even with a 0 mana card that adds to health.
Again I am just guessing based on how they're worded, but it should summon two 5/5s. Vampiric Blood gives you 5 Health to start, then gives you 5 Health a second time with the Corpse bonus.
I want to say this is awesome, but it will be a target before you get anything very big on the board. It will most likely be a minion that you play knowing your opponent will nuke it instead of something more viable and important.
That being said, if you were able to get Audio Amplifier out quick, the idea of a late game Gnome Muncher after dropping this to rebuild your board and get life is good... but not viable. And waiting on Blood Boil for a big kick to build your board is just dumb and would waste too much time.
I guess gains doesn't just mean increases maximum health, because other than Vampiric Blood, what else is there that does that? Not that that card wouldn't be one of the best cards to play with this.
Could be a legit win condition for Blood DK (alongside Mograine). Now you actually have some pressure.
However, 5-mana is a lot and you're rarely getting more than one turn out of it.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
This seems nuts in Triple Blood DK. Vampiric Blood = 2 5/5s, Blood Boil = potentially 6 2/2 minions, Death Strike = 6/6 minion. This seems like a good enough card for triple blood DK just to occupy the board more. Also this can just summon more minions, if your opponent trades minions into it. (Because it has lifesteal as well)
The problem with this card: It NEEDS you to be below Full health i think? Except for Vampiric Blood of course. So that's pretty much the only problem i can see with this card. Also Mosh Pit could make this a lot more sticky.
In Rainbow DK i don't see this being that good. I feel like that deck will prefer other minions.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Does the Aggro deck run hard removal? Oh, they don't, because they're an aggro deck and focused on going unga bunga? Well they're in trouble now.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
