This is such a wonderful card to be made. I love these "for the rest of the game" effects. None so far have been overwhelming or really abusive, but have added a lot of flavor to the games.
This one in particular though, I am thinking that it will see more use in Wild than Standard, unless we start seeing things like Lightning Bloom again
It's neat, and technically you can use Prescience to get him on curve without losing tempo, but how exactly does he win you the game?
There has to be some kind of payoff for this to be worth playing a 5-mana 5/5 as the centerpiece of your deck
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Just in time for Quest Shaman to rotate out.
Permanent cost reduction for a bunch of Shaman cards. No way this isn't going to be strong.
Gonna need to discount a lot more than Lightning Bolts to make it worth it, and unfortunate that he seems to live or die entirely on what the Core Set brings.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
This card feels like the trials of hercules honestly. Like The Stonewright, a powerful card but supporting a keyword that everyone acknowledges is shit.
Let's be honest here, overload is a shit keyword that is only played because shaman players dont really have much choice. Time and time again it has proven to screw more often than support. And here comes a card that makes it slightly better - reducing their card cost by 1, at turn 5 no less.
So, let's not be so negative. What's this card technically going to be doing? Best thing is actually giving you 0 mana Lightning Bolt. The OTK potential is strong, more so if Overdraft is back in core, or if Instructor Fireheart makes it back.
This also makes Criminal Lineup easier to play, and does allow Pack the House to be available immediately on curve after turn 5.
But if Ive got to be honest. If you're playing a bunch of overload cards in your deck, then chances are good you'll not be able to play this on turn 5. Fingers crossed overdraft or Lava Shock is back on core, otherwise this entire archetype will flop harder than flip.
Well now that we know the core set, Inzah seems a lot better. (Mainly thanks to Overdraft being in core) Inzah makes it so you can cheat a LOT of mana throughout a game, and i feel like this will be a must-include in a lot of shaman decks that use a bunch of overload cards.
Oh and also remember that Cold Storage is a card, so you can get multiple Inzahs.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
I just like how they went all in with their Jazzy-puns and all the cool cats!
Inzah plays the trumpet, saxophone, piano, guitar, AND bass. No wonder he's always so overloaded!
