Just give me a reason...

EDIT: Thanks for some input, screw you for downvoting such threads. Found a new deck I enjoyed playing and reached legend for the first time!
I'm seriously considering quiting HS...
... And I've been playing since Open Beta
... Have a 100% Collection
... Am not an on/off but better/worse player (Never reached legend, but enjoyed the climb in several expansions, peaking at rank 1 5 stars :P)
... have all the original classes at 1k+ wins / DH 500+
If this gets any traction, I'll explain my personal concerns, but I would REALLY like to hear some new/positive/encouraging views on why one (I) should continue playing

If you have 100% collection, you can try building a deck of your own and play it. Rather than limiting yourself with Tier 1-2 decks, you can use your imagination to surprise your opponents. I mean, I don't have full collection and don't like the state of Wild, which made me go away at times. Yet, I'm still playing despite the issues because it gives me such satisfaction to beat down meta decks. Like, I'm playing Gazlowe on my Mech Warrior decks with Dr. Boom hero card. Or, Trade Prince Gallywix on Thief Rogue decks and so on.
If Hearthstone (at least one mode or whatever) feels fun to you, then keep playing.
If it feels like a chore or worse, then take a break. Read a book, visit a new place, refresh yourself. No need to delete your account, but if the fun has ceased, why continue?
I tried to give some cards a last goodbye in standard and landed on Machine Gun Hunter.
Had so much fun with the deck (as it beats BloodDK all the time) that I managed to hit legend for the first time ever. :D
So I guess there's still hope.
Congrats! That's a special moment for sure, glad you got to experience it.
Not that I play Standard, but what's Machine Gun Hunter? Could you please share your list?
I notice I am confused. Something I believe isn't true. How do I know what I think I know?

When the Quest goes live, you pump out like 20+ dmg/turn (optimally). Brutally slays Blood-DK and after changing to a 40 card list it also is favored against Mage.
Didn't think that would work, but hey - thank you so much! Tinkered and found a deck to counter the meta :)
I'm delighted to hear that. Kudos to you for making a deck of your own and reaching Legend. Hope you will have fun for years to come.
Just remember; whenever you hit the brick, make a new deck to break it ^_^
BTW: I never played Tier 1/2 decks. My best runs until now were Midrange Paladin during the Secret Paladin Era and C'Thun OTK Priest during whatever meta that was :D
Not two weeks post the new exp and it's the same feeling again. :/
Hearthstone is not the game it once was, to find interesting stuff that can be viable, and not to get frustrated at the same time.
It's probably time to find other games instead of getting fed up, because you'll end up not wanting to play anything after a while. Maybe give other games a chance, since there are a lot of good ones that use cards (if this is what you like). E.g. It's one with world war 2 cards, can't remember the name, if you want something outside the "HS box".
If you want to try a different card game, Legends of Runeterra is a VERY fast game to get up and running. After about a month, you don't really have to spend effort getting cards anymore - it's very friendly to F2P. If you like the game enough, you can spend money on cosmetics (champion skins, or emotes, or game boards).
As far as variety, there are usually 15-20 viable decks at any given moment, and the meta changes up on a monthly basis, due to frequent balance changes and mini-sets. It's also usually possible to just brew up an interesting thing and get some success with it.
Again, this is all just information in case you want to try something new. I'm not trying to pressure you.
Side note - I do NOT recommend getting into Snap! It's nowhere near as good as the hype makes it seem, it's very pay to win, quite frustrating in terms of getting cards you want, and finally - you won't discover any of these things until you've played for a few weeks and got yourself invested. Avoid it - otherwise, you'll eventually realize you reget ever starting it.
P.S. - Just a reminder that this is not a HS fanboy website - it's a card game website. Suggesting other card games is completely reasonable on this site, especially when responding to someone who is tired of HS.
I know I might repeat same words but, really, creativity is the key. I'm saying because I like to brainstorm a deck idea in front of deckbuilder, which can go up to 15-30 min just to reform a fresh deck. Let me give you an example: After opening up Record Scratcher from packs, I noticed recent expansion added some cool Combo cards. So, I went to deckbuilder, searched "combo" and found Whirlkick Master from Uldum set. After it, I built my deck around Whirlkick Master for endless Combo values to form a Combo Rogue deck, which is what recent expansion aimed for in Standard but much better in Wild.
In short, think-think-think. My thought process while building a deck can be as follows:
Doing it on your first attempt can be tiresome or your deck might not be good. As you play matches against opponents, you will realize the deck's weaknesses and patch them up. Then, as you patch them up, you will get used to deckbuilding process and starting to enjoy crafting your homebrew deck. It's how it goes with me and that's why I love playing Wild ^_^
That's my line too.
But with Plat 5 you only see DK or decks that don't care about creativity. (Same for the meta overall since control was redefined with 'Gain x*10 Health and destroy cards necessary to combo)
Essentially: I'd like midrange back with the possibility to go long game (not even complaining about the turn cap)
Personally: Yes, that's what the ladder is about. So this is noch really a right to complain. But from a personal perspective (long time HS player), Control/Midrange/Aggro seemed to be more diverse back than :/
EDIT: Not playing wild, but I guess that is the only way to play HS when the patch doesn't hit well.
Had a slightly different case, but I'll tell you anyway.
Started playing HS a long (not so long - from koft launch) time ago and could not climb the ladder because its hard for me emotionally. Then once I created a topic about it on this forum. And after the response of people and words of support, I began to try my best to rise in rank every day. At that moment, the wild quest hunter was also a strong and fun deck. I don't know if it's a coincidence, skill or luck, but with a big winrate, I easily achieved a legend for the first time in my life. In the following months, I reached legend 2-3 more times.
After that, I got tired of the monotonous broken op wild decks. Played a little of battlegrounds with friends and went to play Legends of Runeterra. Maybe this game is less popular, but there are some very interesting mechanics and it's definitely worth a try. I'm sure that one day I will miss Heartstone and return again.
Sooner or later, even the most beloved things are forgotten, bored or cease to please us. It's worth just doing something else or getting distracted for some time.
