Just so you understand what went down here:
They REMOVED [Hearthstone Card (Armor Smith) Not Found] from Core just so they can print this when Armor Smith is a strictly better card in almost every situation. Hell, Eternium Rover is better than this.
There's no way to gain multiple instances of Armor right now and since they printed this there will never be so what is the fucking point? Could have made it at least give 3 extra armor so the 3-mana Hero Power combo isn't just Odd Warrior for peasants.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Lol, compare this card with Free Spirit and the memes just get better and better. One only works when alive, the other works throughout the game.
So we remove Armorsmith because this card will obviously be broken otherwise. My question to team5 would be to ask "Just why". Because you can easily just have this give you 5 armor and that'll still give you more than what this card will realistically give outside of armor smith shenanigans. Be better than removing the one good card from warrior just for this shitter to exist.
However, its obvious this card will see play. Its the only quillboar and its effect don't suck...too hard. Basically speaking you'll likely get 2-4 additional armor from this card but seriously this is one big stinker in comparison to past cards like Eternium Rover, Drywhisker Armorer, and of course, armor smith.
Here's your quillboar for those menagerie decks. Also 4 armor each time you use your hero power. Until this dies at least. So once, maybe.
Good warrior card. Luckely as stated in the reveal stream it has good synergy with Armorsmith! Oh wait...
Either way this is a good control card, and will also see play in managerie decks because it's a 1 mana quilboar.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
You KNOW they took out Armorsmith from core because they found some Armor Warrior deck in testing that gained a billion armor.
