Assuming you can trigger this easily on 4, its not a bad minion in of itself.
But its spiritual predecessor Oil Rig Ambusher had a better statline and is more consistent. But it saw no play even when barrens were first introduced. Granted that then there wasn't any synergy with combo cards.
The main problem would be figuring out where this card actually fits into. Since both draka and Sinstone Graveyard will still be in standard, its never going into any miracle builds, and tempo rogue has pirates. Unless combo synergy eclipse both, this card doesn't have a chance in hell.
This has potential, but sadly I think it missed its time in the limelight. Unless there is going to be some Combo support like Field Contact or Spirit of the Shark this will probably only fill small niche's in decks.
I guess best case scenario you coin this at 3, and get an extra 4 face damage. Probably not going to be one of the most powerful cards.
Is Shadowstep actually not going to be in Core for once? I don't see how they would print something that's clearly busted otherwise.
Shadowstep is still in the core set... This will be quite a bunch of FACE dmg. *sighs*
That's a wonderous turn 3 play, combo'd with the coin - lots of strong 3 drops this expansion

I'm wondering if Miracle is really the route we want to go with Combo-Bounce Rogue, if we get there just going for Tempo...
