Competition Theme: The Grand Almost-Finale
We're about to reach a climactic end, so it's time to make some noise!
- Make a card that uses the Finale keyword.
- Whether this is using the mechanic itself or interacting with it in other ways is up to you.
We have reached the final quarter of Season 6, and Loknax wants us to hype it up in the most fitting way possible.
As always, we can be reached through Discord or here on the site via PM if you have any issues to report.

- Voting Phase: Starts on Sat, Apr 29 17:00 EDT (GMT -0400). Runs until Sun, Apr 30 16:00 EDT (GMT -0400)
- Finalist Phase: Starts on Sun, Apr 30 17:00 EDT (GMT -0400). Runs until Mon, May 1 17:00 EDT (GMT -0400)
- Winner Selected: After finalist voting concludes and we validate votes.

I'm excited to see what you guys come up with.
I made this card a while ago. It's a bit of an obvious effect, but I think the flavor makes up for it.
We didn't get a Finale weapon because everyone got instruments, but Kodohide Drumkit is awkward to use and doesn't mesh as readily with what the Warrior has received lately. This can support Fire Warrior - however that shakes out - and can also tutor Blackrock 'n' Roll.
Two ideas.

Feedback:
Maybe it's a bit too relying on NOT having drawn Blackrock 'n' Roll beforehand, but even then, a 2/2 weapon for 2 is fair.
I don't get Mask Changer, though. Am I missing something or is it a Wisp that transforms into a 0-Cost Seance once you've spent all your Mana? If that's the case, I think it's a bit strange and hard to understand at first glance.

I haven't really had the motivation to give feedback for the past two comps because there's next to no-one here. :(
I personally don't really feel the need to have a large group of participants, I mostly enjoy having the regulars here. That being said, I do understand that it must be very discouraging when the participation drops like this. Most certainly since you're very involved. So I really hope it gets back up soon.
I actually wanted to participate this week, but I had a hard time finding anything interesting. Finale is just such an awkward keyword, almost certainly my least favorite one yet. There's just not really a purpose to the requirement. You can still play the cards on curve and you can still profit from their effects despite not having any Mana left (unless they would make finale cards with +spell damage or similar, but that defeats the purpose and they know those wouldn't see play). I would have rather seen something like "Does something at the end of the turn it was played."
I still ended up with something that I believe works well, but I just hope Blizzard isn't running out of ideas...
I'm not saying this is the main reason we've been seeing less participation these past few weeks or anything like that. It was just something I wanted to talk about.
I love custom cards and i've wanted a big class/expansion competition since forever. Sadly, after 8 or so years of daily play i began losing interest in Hearthstone. Got into it's mother game World of Warcraft. I'm sorry and i'm sad as well these weekly competitions have gotten basically dead. It's a real shame. Used to stay up will 1 am to see the new theme.

On the subject of activity (or lack thereof)...yeah. I've been busy with personal stuff on top of just being generally frustrated with my competition-output, so combined I've been less inclined to do much beyond the minimum. I don't know if that's fair to the group at-large, but it's how I've been feeling. At the rate we're goin' there might not be competitions for much longer anyway. I agree it's a shame :/

Hooray, I feel better. Or at least, half-better 'cause I have to share it :P Plus the system can't show more than one winner, so you wouldn't even know I also won unless you go into the Transparency Report lol

Congrats to both of you! They're very interesting cards that may actually make Warrior a bit better :)
Regarding the participation issue, I also think this will be the last season, sadly. However, this decline was to be expected, as interest in Hearthstone and card games in general has been declining lately. Who knows, maybe the rebranding as Out of Games will bring new people here that are also interested in card design, but I doubt it, given the emphasis will no longer be on card games. Let's enjoy what's left of this season and we'll see how things develop in the future.
Lastly, I think both of you guys, Link and Demon, should be proud of the superb work you've been doing at organizing these things, even at the face of declining participation and interest. Thanks a lot, seriously!
