Its more useful in control priest than it is for the intended use of getting more Astral Automaton
Use this to get another disruption card, to get another titan, and the forge makes it even better. Essentially this allows you to practically tutor cards you need for occasions, something priest does tend to struggle with.
I guess there will be something worth spending 4 mana to get two extra copies of. Could be a pretty helpful card.
On its own: 2 Mana discover and draw a minion from your deck. This is already a Thrive in the Shadows for minions. This is already a 4/5 star card i.m.o. Super solid and priest really needed some more draw.
Forged version gives you 2 copies, which is really nice. Also the copied card didn't start in your deck, which means Ra-den can ress it. Which might be important for some kind of ress or Astral Automaton deck. But let's be honest, it's going to see play in Control priest decks so they can copy good minions like Aman'Thul and Blackwater Behemoth. (Or Ra-den, The Harvester of Envy or a value generator in thief decks.)
Also forging a card isn't that bad for priests. In my experience of playing control priest decks, i often just hero power while at full health because i have some mana left over, so spending that to forge something instead is nice.
Because both are so good, and this card is just so flexible i'm just rating this 5 stars.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
