Unless the holy pool is good you'll never realistically play this card. Healing for 6 is nice and all, but this might be one of those forge cards that will nearly never be played for the forge effects.
Still, got to respect a crocalisk that gives you some value back I guess.
Mage is doing stuff with spell schools this expansion, so maybe they use him as access to Holy.
I guess if you draw this later, and you need the healing, you forge then play it. If it starts in your hand or you draw it before turn 3 or so, you probably just play it for the random spell.
This might be good for a few classes.
Priest can use this to heal some more i guess, and generates some value on a body. Probably the worst example though.
Mage will love this card, because mage doesn't get much lifegain and the holy spell will help with the spell-school stuff.
Warlock could run this mostly for the healing when forged.
Non-pure control paladins could try running this, mainly to get another holy spell in order to refresh their Starlight Groove. (Which seems nice against warrior.)
And of course forging this = activating Ignis, the Eternal Flame.
This could see some play.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
May get played in every deck. Great card why the hell not

I've tested it on a slow control priest deck and... Feels good to play, holy spells usually fits on that archetype, but Inventor's Aura makes me cry a lot.
That card have all the things that you want on a control priest deck: self healing, value and a little body to deal on early.
By The Holy Light!
