The wording here is not entirely clear to me: does it hit one target 3 times, or does it choose 3 random targets. I think it's a really strong card either way. I'd hate to see a Shaman get their hands on this with Shudderblock.
"Be excellent to each other." -Bill and Ted
@Pezman - Technically they're both possible. It functions like a smaller, rephrased Greater Arcane Missiles, in-that it could damage the same enemy if that option is still available (the opponent's face, perhaps), otherwise it might be spread out. It doesn't necessarily focus on one target, but neither does it default to three separate targets. Just like Fel Barrage's text.
Also, if my understanding of Shudderblock is correct, any shots that go face would result in zero damage. In that instance, you would hope it *didn't* go face, and instead hit enemy minions to clear the board.
I guess coma on text specifies that it can target different targets.
If it was vice-versa, it would be meaningless if you don't want to proc cards like Rotface and it would be a warrior card that deals 1 damage three times that also can target friendlies then imo.
Unpopular Opinion Incarnate
@Linkblade91 - So true, I forgot about the no face limit.

Potentially a better Fireball on a stick. I've been having a lot of fun with a faster excavate mage and I can see it finding a place there.
It will be frustrating when it does not hit the target you want, but against agressive decks it will have no problem. 2 damage per shot is a great amount to clear a token board
Lemushki - The one and only since the 2006 rebranding.
I'm not sure how good Elemental Mage will be, but this is decent board control for a tempo deck. And it can go face so that already makes it a good card in my book. "Me cast arcane missiles" minion wasn't that good though, so I don't think this will be either.
I don't want to cure cancer; I want to turn people into dinosaurs.
The fact that Kobold Apprentice was legitimately played makes me think this will too even if that card is many years old at this point. It doesn't look extremely strong, but it can possibly do some good work. The damage being able to hit face is a double-edged sword though.
don't know if elem mage need this, but can be a strong finisher
Lots of damage, but lack of synergy.
Damage isn't anything to scoff at but as a tempo play, it just seems underwhelming for the body
Nice tempo card, might be really good in the right deck. Elementals have received a lot of love lately, maybe there's a Wild deck to be cooked here.
I notice I am confused. Something I believe isn't true. How do I know what I think I know?

Interesting that they chose the three wicks to represent arcane, frost, & fire despite flavor only.
I can't see this being bad unless going against enrage warrior.
And mage loves 2 damage pings *eye roll*
Revenge of the Candle! But seriously though, it looks strong. Might seem play for tempo.
Too bad this isn't a Shaman card. Might actually be OP in that class.
Feels like a good arena card for Mage, not too sure if an Elemental Mage can claw it's way to relevancy in Standard though.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
