The fact that this costs is a clear indication of how broken discounts like this can be. Not only are you overpaying for a 4/3, but that steep cost means you can't abuse this too early in the game. The card itself looks really powerful and probably well-balanced, but then the mini version comes along. 1 mana for a 3 mana discount, plus possible combo with Sonya Waterdancer. Yikes.

One could say that she comes prepared (Preparation), pre-nerf edition. The high initial cost is probably what's going to keep it in check.
It is going to be nerfed really soon. Must play in any deck... Also Miniaturize just makes this way too good in my opinion.

This is really good. Technically, the first half only "costs" 2, then the mini version is like a minion Prep that helps you cheat out basically anything you want. For Pirate Rogue this is an auto-include, I think there will be other kinds of Rogue that give this a run, as well.

This is pretty good, especially the Mini since the Mini actually gives you a net-profit in Mana, works with Sonya and The Crystal Cove and is a great Combo enabler. The base version is basically a 4/3 for 2 as well.
Disgusting card in general. Will see play in every non-aggro rogue decks
This is just way to much mana cheat to not see play at some point. Also good synergy on the mini with Sonya.
I can already smell the Cutterbutter shenanigans Pirate Rogue is will be cooking up...with a burst of flavor!
Yeah Rogue's going to be cheesing this somehow, not looking forward to it lol
Combo enabler
One more example where the Mini is better than the original card. If the legendary Pirate ever takes flight it will be thanks to this one's Mana cheat. I'm not sold yet, but there are definitely going to be ways found to abuse this.

The card that will enable the clown combo. The only question is can rogue have enough survivability to collect the pieces? Or will aggressive card draw be the way?
Mana cheat almost always becomes relevent, so I imagine this will too with its mini version.
This card is insane, especially the miniature version of it. Will definitely see play.
Okay, pay 6 Mana for this plus the Mini, get a total cost reduction of 6. And a 1/1 and a 4/3 on top of that.
Baseline is not that great, you're effectively adding a 2 mana 4/3, but the mini absolutely opens up for some scammy plays
