Highlander Hunter Advice

Hey guys,
For the past days I'm trying to run different versions of highlander hunter (always with the secret package), but cannot locate the perfect one for standard. Win rates in 50-52% at max and I'm stuck on rank 5 and cannot advance any higher.
What would you recommend to read/check videos in order to understand how to play with this deck better? Maybe you know the ideal Highlander Hunter deck?
Thanks in advance!

Check out a video from RDU, he hit legend rank 1 with that deck a couple days ago and explains it in depth.
I play it myself atm (rank 1, about to hit legend) and for me the key was greedy secret mulligan and aggressive playstile.
Brann on turn 7 is stupid strong.
Zephrys is allways insane. I use him mostly for swing turns and for lethals of course.
And finally, secrets are hard to play correctly. If done well, it‘s very rewarding but it can backfire. Consider what your opponent thinks and play some mindgames with him. The matchup is also important.

Thanks a lot Bersak, will check his vid :)
This. I played about 60 games with it to Legend, it's reallly strong as long as you play secrets correctly
Gosh dang it, cards bad.
Do Highlander hunter players think this deck will still be dominant, without Zul'jin, next year?
I'm asking this because I don't know if it is safe to craft Brann and Subject 9. I have all the other key cards for this deck but I am a f2p scrub.
Next year we will have 2 new sets in standard wich means 270 new cards! So, maybe, just maybe, Highlander decks will have new fuel to mourne about Zul'jin rotating out. But imo Highlander decks will still be a thing
I want to craft dinotamer brann, but I am also missing subject 9 and siamat. most lists I see run those two, do you think the deck will be viable without them? or should I try and save up for a different deck?
Carrion, my wayward grub.
If you are a hunter player Subject 9 is a great card and sees play in almost every hunter deck. Siamat is another great card and imo a safe craft for this set. But it will always depend on your dust. If you have the dust, go fot it. The deck is awesome and super fun. But it's super expensive.
I don't really have the dust to craft those legendaries. I have like 200 and I am waiting until I have enough to craft brann. if I cannot find replacements for siamat and subject 9 then I probably go after a cheaper deck

Watch the video guys! I won‘t link it for you ;)
RDU talks about replacements, especially Subject 9. You can easily replace that card.
Siamat is just a great card to have in your collection. Neutral and safe to craft. But replacable aswell. I would take out sandbinder then aswell though. Wich is sad because drawing Zephrys is great and wins games.
A good candidate for replacements:
Wild Bloodstinger! I love this one and would like to find a place for it myself. He is allmost never bad.

I took out Tracking for [Hearthstone Card (Wild Bloodstinger) Not Found]. The disrupt effect is amazing, especially when you take out a Dinotamer Brann or Zephrys the Great
Defenitely yes! i run 2 different lists - one with Secrets, Zul'Jin etc. and the second one is more of a Highlander MechBomb Hunter without Zul'Jin - and it still works fine!
Mhh ...personaly i am not convinced Wild Bloodstinger would fit into the deck but i will give it a try because you're right about the disruption it could do!
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
I'd be more worried about Subject 9 if I were you
Zul'jin is a great lategame card, but it's not like you can't win games before that. But Subject 9 is the only actual Draw Hunter has, meaning without her the deck will be so much more inconsistent than it already is (not to mention without the secret package 1/3 of the deck needs to be replaced somehow)
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
