very good
One of my fav cards from the set!
I"m totally not blown away by this. Both times I saw this guy hit the table with me, I had either a Polymorph or a poison minion to take him out.
Am I the only one, who thinks this card is somewhat overrated? I mean, sure, it's flexible and it can be used in different situations. But it costs 7 mana (making him super slow) and it can't buff minions (unlike Zilliax). So, am very confident when I say this, but this won't be run in aggro or combo decks due to the reasons I mentioned above.
In control (Shudder shamy) and in some mid-range decks I guess this has some potential to appear, but it's definitely not as omnipotent as the 5-mana mech. Siamat is a killer in arena though.
My opinion on the different possibilities:
- weak;
+ situationally useful;
++ the most likely and optimal scenario.
TAUNT. TAUNT.
The Zilliax of the expansion. It can go into any deck and will work well, and it has an elemental tag to boot.
new Dr. 7
I always enjoyed playing Adapt minions from Un'Goro. This is like that, with slightly different options. Should be fun and reasonably useful. I'm guessing we are offered all 4?
Phenomenal power, reasonable mana-cost, super flexible design. Is this the next Zilliax? Eh, maybe but at 7-mana it might limit it to midrange and slower.
really scared of Shudderwock now
Who wouldn't be scared of Shudderwock on crack ?!
oh missed the reveal of this one...looks mad
This card is going to be an absolute beast in standard and throughout any meta in hearthstone until it rotates.
Imagine getting this out on turn two in the right Mage deck.
In my opinion this may end up being the most versatile card hearthstone has ever printed.
Play this in shudderwock or 1uest shaman and have shudderwock with 1 or 2 keywords, and with the shaman quest you can have all 4 keywords easily for 9 mana.
I am not used to the new quests yet. I thought at first glance you meant the murloc one lol
Choose two? Genies are supposed to give us three wishes! I want my third wish, Siamat!
Just bring brann for convincing... You will even get an extra if you do...
The Lord of the South Wind seems very strong.
Doubling it's battlecry is somewhat good, but need to be careful and think whether you want to give it taunt...
The fact that you can always get Rush and/or Taunt really matters on this guy.
Three best combos would be:
Rush Windfury
Rush Divine Shield
Taunt Divine Shield
Situational effects are:
Rush Taunt can be used to kill a guy and then stop weapon
Divine Shield Windfury is just somewhat hard to remove two turn lethal setup
Bad combination would be:
Taunt Windfury can't find situation when it is good... maybe desperation, when you just need to get that two turn lethal setup but also kinda need to not die...
