cards not vaild in standard?

tried to build a standard deck but the Emperor Thaurissian is refused (card not available in standard)

I am 69 years old and still reach Legend
Are you sure you're using the event one and not the one from your wild collection?
Sidenote: I haven't opened the game yet so I do not know if there's actually two different copies of Emperor Thaurissan right now.
Make sure you have updated your client.
I am having the same problem.
Update your client, restart the game. I have no problem creating a deck with the event cards.

it probably depends from where you copy the string of the deck
Copying from Vicious Syndicate gives the error
removing manually the two cards and adding from collection it works

Oh, makes sense. The old strings import "your" copies, which are technically different cards from the event copies. Blizz definitely made everyone's life difficult with how they handled adding these cards. They broke deck trackers and deck strings and everything lol.
