So why not embrace them all and just start playing Wild? Even part-time.

The thing about Wild is that it's vastly different from Standard. People aren't excited about getting to play the Wild cards per se, rather they're excited about being able to use cards that were previously broken in standard and thus Hall of Famed in decks that we play now. Many cards failed to see play due to not having enough support, and likely won't see more play in Wild where the cards are so much stronger. Doing this allows us to see "what could have been" of Hearthstone. It also showcases how cards can change in perspective, even when the cards themselves don't change, as the game evolves.
Also this way I don't have to fork over dust to play the good decks.
???
Because they do not have those cards maybe?
In standard the decks you encounter are often all the same after a while, just basically some netdeck. With new cards thrown in, the meta is again in a state of chaos: what is the best deck now? So you can try out some new stuff and that is fun.
cause the interaction between a smaller pool of cards is unknown yet there might be new stuff that people didn't tinker with in wild cause the card pool is so large..
Blizzard is finally realizing they were wrong with their initial direction, just like in WoW. I hope at least.
Why design so many cards and graphics (see past expansions, i.e. Wild) if the vast majority of players are playing standard and not caring about them too much?!
With this move they are reusing previous work and providing meta shakeups. Hopefully, the free space left is going to be used to actually improve the game by other means, unrelated to cards and cosmetics...
I actually hate it already. Sylvanas and Nzot in standard ... Paladins with avenge and challenger.... It changes the envionment. Now you can´t play a large number of decks anymore. You either be fast or play Nzot yourself.
Wild is a dumpster fire and every game is a race to draw some broken combo.
Communism is just a red herring
That warlock deck that keeps resurrecting board after board with nzoth is very irritating indeed.
