Doomsayer's little brother. Provides another control tool against aggro decks and disrupts their rhythm.

A lot of comparisons to doomsayer but I think it's a good card on it's own merit, shuts down lackey shit early and keeps it that way, the new mage dragon soul also gets recked by this just by being on the board, you guys may see a doomsayer but I see a barron geddon that goes off at the start of your turn rather than the end of it. Constantly clearing the board. This is what control needed against lackey shit. Its amazing.

Not if you're playing quest priest. This might seem hilarious, in fact... imagine buffing this minion turn after turn...
Ehhh healing something for 2 every turn doesn't outlast it hitting itself for 5 every turn
After the quest completed, I meant. Play this, buff to 3/8, next turn 6/11 and so on.
still sounds like a resource drain. the new HP is a break even effect but if the enemy attacks into it at all, you have to throw in lots of healing to keep it around. not to mention it will kill your own board so any minion-based healing that you put down will take 5 dmg. doesnt sound very viable (nevermind Deadly Shot or Sap)

Interesting card - like some others in the set it fills in some spaces between and around existing cards (like Doomsayer). A decent tech option/control option.
Budget Doomsayer! A nice new option for Control decks and you can do some funky things with it (like giving it lifesteal with Lightforged Blessing). Good but not amazing. Strong but not broken.

So crazy, different from Doomsayer but you can get both in the same deck for longer survivability.
Now 1 drops generating cards can have a negative rng.
Imagine putting lifesteal on it (palaplayers) or giving it to your oponnent using Treachery.

I think wl has way better ways to clear the board than with a Treachery combo 🤣 but it is the thought that counts 👍
To be fair, Mecha'thun Lock has been running Doomsayer-Treachery for some time now in high legend lists (in Wild, obviously) because you don't want to run removal that can't be cleansed by Hemet. Obviously Doomsayer is better than this card for that job, just noting that even with all the Wild removal, Treachery still sees play :P
There are way to buff health. Priest for one could have this stick around for a turn or 2.
