It's a very interesting card that counters specific deck, so the playability of this card will depend on the meta. However, this works like a supply and demand graph—as the quantity supply of armor based decks rises the quantity demand for this card will also rise to the equilibrium point.
True meta breaking card of the is... neutral common?! This card will shape the meta for years to come by its mere existence. Destroyer of control archetype based on armor gain. I'm afraid that Blizzard went too far this time...
this is the tech card i have been waiting for. good against ctrl warrior and quest druid obviously. might deal 20+ dmg to the enemy hero. good card against specific decks and running a vanilla 5/5 against other decks i not too bad of a punishment to put this in your deck. strong tech card as put earlier.
They finally did it. While this may turn out to be a useful tech card against certain decks this is a hard counter to High Priest Thekal in WIld. I confess that I love to combo him with Reno Jackson.
Can you imagine the absolute RAGE a Thekal Paladin will feel after they use Thekal, and this card gets dropped next turn. (instant game if you have any way of dealing 1 damage.)
Question, what decks are gaining armor now in standard? BF the Doom in the Tomb event, what decks gained armor? Shaman was still the majority of ladder.. so this tech card wouldn't have made a huge impact. It is still a 5mana 5/5 so there is that, but do you want to include this in your deck? how many heal/holy wrath paladins are you really facing on ladder?
It's really strange to finally see this mechanic, when there's really not a big armor archetype right now... Guess you can theorise that with the new set comes support for big armored Warrior, but... I don't really think so.
Now, in Wild, with those random Odd Warriors and Armor Druids, yeah, this is a good addition for a (very specific) tech card.
This card is very polarizing it seems so far. i'm a fan of having interaction with armor but only because of wild interactions making basically unwinnable games. Gotta fix it somehow i guess.

I'm so glad this card doesn't get played right now. I can use High Priest Thekal with peace of mind.
Anybody know if solo bosses are immune to this or anything? I have a Lich King to kill a bunch of times.
A tech card that was bound to happen one day to make sure Armor never becomes an issue. Any calls to nerf infinite armor druid can be ignored.

This is really good tech card specially in wild or a tank meta, but this time dont think armor warrior is gonna be a thing.
if you really hate warrior or wild druid in most case just good tech card which don't see much play
Finally, the tech card we've been waiting for!
Yes, the meme comes true
And its actually useable, especially with the dragon tag
High Priest Thekal who?

Uhm, i love this card because i hate playing against control warrior. This card will be amazing in an armor meta so it has great potential

Goodbye Control Warrior, I think this card should be legendary, playing against rogues with shadowstep will hurt too much…
rip control warrior with infinite armor resisting overdeck. and rip high priest tekhal, nevermind i never saw this card in ranked

Finally some kind of answer to crazy control decks. It's late, but better late than never.
