Hearthstone's Road to Northrend Brawl Disabled Until Next Week Due to Ongoing Issues

Blizzard has disabled the Road to Northrend brawl that was supposed to take place this week. It has been replaced with Pick a Hand, any Hand.

  • We'll see the Road to Northrend brawl return next week.
  • Some players encountered client crashes with the brawl, preventing completion.
  • Issues with Tavern Brawls seem to be more common in recent times. See Brawliseum getting replaced.

  • Worked fine on Android for me.

  • On the last 2 bosses, the game crashed for me on Mobile. I had to open the game back up on PC in order to finish the brawl. 

  • I almost quit my brawl during the final match because I thought it had gotten stuck in an infinite loop. I used Stone Fox Statue to play 5 Lei Flamepaw and then played Orb of the Untold. After the opponent died, and I got the dialogue from Reno, the game proceeded to continue pinging the dead opponent with Orb hits, slowly, one at time. It went on for a at least 3-4 minutes, and I was about to quit out of the app, when it finally stopped and moved on. I wish I had a video.

  • What exactly were the issues? I managed to beat it at first try and it seemed OK.

    • From what Incould gather, it seemed like some iOS users (maybe all?) Were having sudden crashes that would just kill the Game For them when finding Aviator Bob. And every time they would reopen the Game, they would reconnect to the crashing Match. The only fix was yo concede really fast after connecting

    • meh, it wasn't like that.

      Tavern Brawl has already seen so many problems since early 2020. (Not to mention those "Top 3" Brawl when they compensate us with 300 gold). I guess the team doesn't do so good with Unity platform. (and to cut this short, this is me assuming thing)

  • This sucks, but I do hope Blizzard gives compensation again

    • Blizzard does not "Owe" us anything, but the smol indie something something used to give us stuff as a token apology when a mistake like this happens. Honestly the game just seems so messed up now if they gave us stuff for every time they screwed something up no one would ever need to buy packs.

      Anyway it's whatever it's a good game, I just wish Activision actually invested time and money in fixing the games issues. It seems like hearthstone has the smallest dev team of all the companies ip's

    • Compensation for WHAT? They don't owe you anything. Jiminy Cricket that's pitiful.

      • On the contrary, they DO owe you the card pack that is promised for beating the brawl, and if there's an issue with claiming that, like there was last time, then there's a problem.

        Doesn't seem like there was such a problem this time, though, if I understand correctly, people who didn't get their pack from Northrend can get it in this new brawl, so I don't see any need to break out the picket signs.

        • They don't owe you anything because you haven't paid for anything.

          Expecting something and being owed something are not the same.

          If they decide to hand out a free pack to ease your disappointment, that's called generosity, not obligation.

          • They advertised a free pack for clearing the Tavern Brawl, and that's exactly what they are owed to pay to anybody who completes it.

            I haven't paid anything? I'm sorry, would you like me to upload my collection so I can expose the SHIT out of you? I've spent hundreds on this game. The least Blizz can do in return is to make sure the rewards they promise are awarded properly.

            And not just for me, but for everybody. If they tell you you are getting a pack if you do this, and you do the thing they ask of you, YOU SHOULD GET THE PACK. End of story, bottom line.

            Keep booing me, I'm right. :)

  • I played on mobile. Only issue I got was that I killed one of the bosses but that didn't conclude the game there. I had to deal lethal damage next turn again. Other than that, it worked fine and I finished the run.

  • Didn't experience any problems with mine, just got the pack and completed the first two missions though.

    It was fun, I hope they put it back soon!

  • and once again blizzard fails in a tavern brawl for the 3th time 
    time for some people to lose there job

      • uhmm for doing bad jobs just as everyone also would lose there job if they doing it wrong
        I mean if someone works as teacher but she fails with teaching she lose her job also
        Thats life my friend also calling me a sociopath when you not even know me is just sick but yeah internet you can say anything without consiquence dare you to do it in someone face someon you dont know and just random call him that ;)

        • No, if a teacher makes a small correctable mistake, she does not get fired for it instantly. If that's how your job works, I feel nothing but pity for you. But to wish the same on another person who made a mistake that affects your life NOT AT ALL makes it look like you lack the capacity for empathy.

            it seems dont really have any clue about the world men feel sorry for you that did not get a braint
            But yeah if a teacher makes mistake after mistake they get fired maybe not in your virtual world but it does in the real world
