For me perosnally, it's not the difficulty or even the price (paid for it all in gold, like every repectable F2P casual player I have plenty of spare gold), it's the adventures, starting from Dalaran Heist which was insanely fun and with HUGE replayability value (it literally takes weeks of too much free time, 9 characters * 5 chapters * 2 Because of anomaly mode * 2 because of heroic = 180 variations before even going into the hero power and starting deck combinations) it started going downhill. Saviours of Uldum had 4 characters and 4 chapters, I never even got to unlock half of the starting treasures before I've had enough.
This time? No choosing class, no choosing cards, absolutely 0 replayability value? It feels like the decision was to put as little effort into the adventure while making it as hard to play ranked without buying it (becuase while a lot of the cards are either plain bad or mediocre, some are going to become staples in decks, but guess what? none of them are in the first free chapter)
I totally get why people are complaining. Going backward is never a good thing (reminds me a little of Rumble run that came after Dungeon Run but on a much greater scale) and while I'm F2P so any free content I get is fine, people are actually forced to buy a sub-par single player content. I literaaly stared at the screen after completing the normal diffuculty because I couldn't believe that was it.
I found both modes plenty fun, but was expecting more difficulty from Heroic. Past adventures' Heroic modes were BRUTAL. Maybe the challenge will scale up as we go (get it? "Scale" up? Like, cuz, dragons!).
Am I the only one dissapointed? It's not even about the difficulty, format as a whole is a huge step backwards for me. I am rather casual HS player and I didn't really save gold for anything so I actually bought last two adventures with real money because i was having a lot of fun with the free chapters. And with that one I was like, okay I got some new cards and that's all? I mean, it's just boring in my opinion, the ability to replay chapters with different deck everytime in previous two expansions did a such good job, now the thing that made those adventures great is just gone and there isn't anything interesting besides the narration in this one.
You have to use your own decks in heroic mode. So what is the problem. They made the adventure winnable for new players by not needing cards in normal mode
Sorry if this has been asked, but can I craft these cards or do I have to buy the adventure?
They can’t be crafted until they go to wild.
too easy adventure ...i feel to have spent gold just to purchase cards, not to play an adventure :)
Dude, where is my (iOS) patch?
I just love how they let us play as Kadgar with his RoS adventure OP deck.
Does anyone else find it extremely odd that the League side has a Priest card in it, and the EVIL side has a Paladin card in it? Shouldn't those be reversed?
I wonder if the devs are hiding a card in final adventure
I know it's not just me.. The first chapter is incredibly easy with those OP premade decks. Finished the normal one in less than 20 minutes o.O
Can you imagine how much complaining there would be if they locked playable cards behind a difficult fight?
Except that even heroic mode which doesn't award cards was super easy, especially when compared to BRM or Nax
When does this start up for iphone? I am not seeing it available yet.
That's why they're calling it Story now instead of Normal :D
Something cool to progress through and enjoy a story they've created. Heroic is the real deal (or at least should be?)
Normal supposed to be super easy so you don't struggle getting the new cards. But heroic was super easy too :(. Maybe because i play wild but Mecha'thun quest Warlock killed everybody.
i guess that works super well with any amount of hp and armor of those bosses, its like cheating :c damn i want my mecha'thun.
