The Demon Hunter Hero Power - +1 Attack to Hero for 1 Mana
It looks like Demon Hunters are going to be synergizing with cards that gain power or trigger effects based on whether or not they have attacked this turn, which plays well into their Hero Power design. With it only requiring 1 mana, we'll likely be making frequent use out of attacking with our hero.
Are both cards for Demon Hunter that appear in their Basic set and highlight the hero attack mechanic. We've also got two other basic cards that buff your Attack.
I for one am excited to see hero attacks coming to a class as a core mechanic. It also looks like they've got weapons (Flamereaper) which is awesome to see. It would have been a crime to put in Demon Hunters without weapons.
What do y'all think about this being a core class mechanic?

I like it.
A 1-mana Hero Power is something I (as well as literally the entire community of this game, and I am not exaggerating) thought would never happen. It gives them an advantage with Inspire, which is not entirely that relevant but it's neat. Other cards that affect Hero Powers can have a stronger or a weaker effect on this Hero Power due to design. Speaking of the Hero Power, the effect of "after your hero attacks" is basically better Inspire since it triggers off of the Hero Power and several class cards.
One dynamic of the mechanic is that the class doesn't appear to have access to healing (at least, not at the moment), so watching your Health as you attack will be more important here, much like Rogue.
Its likely going to break certain cards. I'm just worried that it would limit future designs as they will have to incorporate this into consideration.
It also generally mean that 1 health minions, specifically 1 drops on turn 1 are no longer effective against 1 of the 10 classes now. That's kinda a bummer
Wait, does that mean Even DH will never exist? Like, Genn Greymane is absolutely useless in this Class, right?
Also, now that I think about it... What will the upgraded HP be? 1 Mana gain 2 Attack could be pretty Aggro, especially in a Baku Deck.

They could make it not available on Wild yet until they figured it out.
But yeah, I'm expecting a whole bunch of bugs and glitches incoming.
EDIT. This is just a theory, but maybe upgraded hero power can be 1 attack & lifesteal rather than 2 attack

I am looking forward for 'inspire' wild demon hunter. It will be nice to resurect that old mechanic.
are we certain its 1 attack to just your hero?
This was also my first thought about the class eheh.
In a way, Even DH is any DH, just with a suboptimal HP, but many synergic cards already.
